The van is very easy to tow, with a maximum Gross Vehicle Mass of 1585kg. Unladen with water and food, the van weighs in at 1180kg. Setup and pack up is easy thanks to the wind-up top and can be done by just one person. Electric brakes are fitted to this camper and require an electric brake controller on your towing vehicle (i.e. portable or permanently fixed to hirer vehicle), which will be provided free of charge if the hirer tow vehicle does not have one fitted. The van comes with quality crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for 6 people. When you rent from us we will spend as much time as you need showing you how everything works and making sure you are comfortable with it before you go off on your adventure. A thorough checklist is also provided, showing each step that needs to be performed on setup, pack up and towing.

Hiring rules

• Our Eagle Outback is our pride and joy and we keep it in pristine condition, so expect that you return the van in the same condition it goes out in. Note that, cleaning of the exterior of the van is not required and we expect that it may get dirty/dusty on some occasions and will clean it upon return.
• Early pickup/checkin means post 9am pickup, but later/earlier times can be agreed upon hire.
• Late return/checkout generally means 1pm return, but later/earlier times can be agreed upon hire.
• Pop top MUST NOT be taken on 4WD only roads i.e. should only be accessible by 2WD cars only.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.
