Sofie 5.0We had a wonderful time up in Bright! Walter was available for any questions we had throughout the trip. The handover of the van was super easy and he talked us through everything we needed to know. He was incredibly accommodating. We will definitely be booking again!
Bonita 4.5We had a great time in the van and everything was easy enough to understand for a first time user. The van is an older style and a little rough around the edges but it did drive well.
Jana 3.5To say this motorhome is aging would be an understatement. The list of issues we encountered during our 40-day trip is long (see below). If all you're looking for is a bed on wheels, don't let this dissuade you choosing this motorhome. However, if you want to enjoy a carefree, longer trip, look for alternatives. Having a small issue here and there is to be expected with an older vehicle, but having to deal with all the problems below caused quite a few headaches and changed plans. Walter was friendly and responsive, although most of the time his support was limited to the mental kind. Repairs other than quick fixes were not possible, so we were stuck with most of the issues for the remainder of our trip. Walter, we suggest you spend some time in your motorhome yourself as it desperately needs some love and fixing. Problems: Our biggest issue with the motorhome were the batteries. They simply would not fully charge, and drained after 24h every time we had to rely on them. After many charging hours, several unpleasant surprises of being stuck without power, and a visit to a service center which taught us that the main charging circuit is only working at half the capacity, we gave up on our plan to stay on unpowered camping sites. Walter provided us with a fast charger, which didn't make a difference in charging the batteries, apart from having loud fans and being a sheer inconvenience/danger with live wires and hot components while staying in the motorhome with small children. Moving on to the kitchen. The microwave didn't spin. One of the burners on the cooktop didn't work. The oven only heated up at the back. The tap started leaking after 2 days, becoming a fire hazard next to a power outlet. As we were far from any service center, we replaced the leaking tap ourselves. Rust everywhere in the fridge. Freezer's door breaking off due to rust. Issues related to driving: several warning signs stay on due to no apparent reason. There is an oil leak. Driver's window is very hard to close. One of the two rear cameras doesn't work. Rear mirror is missing, with a crack in the windscreen where the mirror is supposed to be. Rear suspension and handbrake need work. Other things worth mentioning: the bathroom's door doesn't stay closed while driving. Many cupboard locks are hard to close. Duct tape on the outside of the motorhome, used to "fix" accidents prior to our rental, comes loose. Grey water leaks out.
Teagan 4.8We had a lovely time, the van has everything you need. Walter is also great, and available for any questions that you might have! We hope to use the Conquest one day again in the future :)
