Hiring rules

  • Hirer must empty toilet before returning vehicle.
  • Drop off time must be before 4pm on the last hire day, or as preorganised prior to the trip
  • 200 Km per day free (i.e. 7 day hire = 1400 Km), excess Km charged at $1.00 per Km
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Our first time in a motorhome. It was super easy. The owners were great! We had some questions which were promptly answered. The van was easy to use and had everything we needed.

    We had such a fantastic trip in Happy Camper! The van was well set up and had everything we needed. Peter and Rob were great to deal with and accessible on the phone when we had a couple of minor issues (our errors!). The heating was really good - we had cold weather for most of the trip and the kids were kept toasty overnight. Would 100% book again - it has started us on a campervan journey!

    My family and I hired the van for 13nights and drove up the coast to Merimbula and back. My kids are 8 and 5 and we all had a fantastic time. The van had enough bed space and facilities for us to cook our own dinner most nights. We also stayed at places with no electricity multiple times and we hired the generator if we needed to use an appliance. We were able to live comfortably with the solar power and gas for the fridge most the time without electricity. The team responded quick to questions we had along the way. Thank you Happy Camper team for hiring your van out to us.

    Four kids loved their first ever time in a Camper Van. Even though water pump wasnt working, owners offered to get an electrician out to us in Shep. Kids enjoyed watching TV whilst driving. Aircon for Van might need a review as stopped working on way home.
