Hiring rules

• If the vehicle travels on unsealed roads without prior agreed message through Camplify from us, the vehicle hire will have an additional professional detailing charge of $2,000.00 for inside and outside the vehicle, and a charge for any lost income due to vehicle unavailability for future hire while being detailed.
• Toilet cassette must be emptied prior to return or a $200.00 cleaning fee will be charged.
• Fuel refilled.
• Van left clean and tidy on return or select the cleaning option at booking stage.
• $100.00 Inside Clean (excluding toilet)
• $120.00 Exterior Clean (excludes fees for detailing)
• Hirer must be 25 years or older.
• 250 km per day included in the hire fee. Additional km will be charged @ $0.50c per km (e.g 10 day hire allows 2,500 km for the trip if you travel 2,850km the charge would be 350kmx$0.50=$175.00 additional charges)

• Hirer must be 30 years of age or older.

  The experience with Luxury Escapes on Wheels was fantastic. It's hard to tell whether to highlight the owners, Colleen and Shaun, and the communication with them, or the camper itself. The camper is handed over in superb condition and with detailed and holistic instructions. The technology and equipment leave nothing to be desired. If you ever have a concern, Colleen and Shaun are quick to help and flexible. All in all, it was a great experience, especially for us as beginners. Thank you so much!

  Unfortunately this motorhome came with major flaws followed by false claims in their post hire report to get more money, once we had flagged our issues with them (with no attempt to recover money ourselves). We deliberately paid a premium for a newer motorhome over others available on Camplify, expecting a reliable and well-equipped vehicle for our young family. Unfortunately, this expectation was not met, and several issues significantly impacted our trip: 1. Missing water hose fitting we were unable to connect to any city water supply for the entirety of our journey. With two children under four, this meant we couldn't use the shower or internal taps and had to purchase bottled drinking water daily. Being told to 'go buy a hose ourselves from the owner (1000km from perth) was not a reasonable solution, especially given this was something significant to be included. 2. Jammed drawer and lack of cookware This drawer contained essential pots and pans we needed to prepare meals for our kids. We contacted the owners at the time and were advised it happens often and to find a caravan shop to get it fixed ourselves, but with two small children in a remote location this was not possible. As a result, we couldnt cook meals and had to find alternative dining options, wasting food we had brought with us. 3. Unsafe and cramped child seating setup Prior to booking, we confirmed that the dining area could safely accommodate two child seats. However, at handover, we were told legroom would be tight for the kids the reality was worse. The only way to fit both seats was to dismantle part of the table and prop it up using makeshift supports. This created a significant safety hazard, particularly during braking, where the table would shift, hit me in the stomach, and cause anything on it to slide. Over 20 hours of travel, this became both stressful and physically painful. To top this off, the owners have now included false claims in their post hire report and attempted to get us to pay more money for wear & tear (ie. an old faulty toilet cassette that couldnt be opened - which we attempted to do only once and was evidently on it's final legs). Colleen has also been inappropriate in her communication -reported all of the above to Camplify.

  The van was amazing! Lovely to drive, beds were comfortable and stocked with all you need. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. Had a fantastic holiday!

  Colleen was fantastic in all of her dealing, from start to finish the process was so easy, especially.considering our initial motorhome booking was cancelled the day prior of our pick up due to damage. Colleen was quick to respond and assisted to sort out our predicament. The motorhome itself was as luxurious as you can get for a motorhome, it was clean and new with fantastic appliances that allowed us to make breakfast, lunch and dinner while on the road. If I am ever looking for a motorhome again in Western Australia, Colleen will definitely be my 1st point of call. Thank you again for everything.
