Wanderin' Bill is a dream to drive, he cruises the highways, climbs the hills and gets away from the rat race where you can quickly set up and start to unwind.
Bill's matress is a custom made inner-sprung beauty that will ensure you have the best night sleep! On top of that, it can fold up if you need to use the table indoors when the weather is not meeting your expectations. The timber lined walls and ceiling inside the van means that Bill will keep you snug as a bug with a little porthole window if you want to check the horizon and the weather before you even get out of bed!
Complete with a fridge, sink and butane gas stove top, there's not much else you need to get out and amongst it (except for your own food and clothing). There's storage for food, clothing, books and iPads, plus reading lights, USB charging points and the option to go off-grid with a solar panel up top, so free camping is on the cards. Bill even has a fan to cool you off after a hard days hiking or surfing... or climbing... or shopping.

Additional information
Wanderin' Bill is a more a cruiser than a racer… it’s all about the journey here. Smooth acceleration and braking will see you driving along with a big smile on your face. He takes diesel fuel and I generally use premium to ensure the motor is powering along in peak condition.
Hiring rules
- * No smoking or vaping in the van.
- * Candles or incense can be used but only if placed in the kitchen sink.
- * Please watch the video on setting up and packing up the pop top roof and the awning.
- * Please only drive on sealed roads, and well graded/smooth dirt roads for short distances only (ie within a campground).
- * Please don’t force anything … gently does it with Wanderin’ Bill.
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

About the owner
I'm not a has been, I'm a never was and never will be... I enjoy getting in my van and escaping the mayhem that can at times feel overwhelming; having time on my own allows me to just be myself and just do what I want, when I want (within reason).
There's not much I love more than bringing everything back to basics and making do with what I've got - taking a step away from abundance and instant gratification and just 'being' in nature, by a river, or in the bush ... even in a caravan park ... just to step away from the rat race.
