Welcome to Salty the Volksy – a beachy campervan that's perfect for your next adventure! Salty is a 2007 Volkswagen Transporter that has been lovingly converted into a cozy home on wheels. With a bed for 2 that is extended to be nearly a full sized double, an equipped outdoor, slide out bbq, a mini bar sized fridge and LOADS of storage space, Salty is the perfect choice for couples or solo travelers who want to explore Far North Queensland and the East Coast in style. Salty comes with all the necessary camping gear and equipment to enjoy your stay. Salty is not strong enough for ‘off-road’ but she can handle some dirt tracks and corregated roads if you’re gentle with her. Salty has solar panels and an additional solar blanket to power the fridge and charge up your USB powered devices. Salty is air conditioned when driving and there are fans in the van for your comfort. Salty has a manual transmission and can be a little slow up some big hills so you need to be patient with her and treat her like your grandma at times. I expect you will treat Salty with the love and care that I do and therefore it is expected she is returned clean (including fridge).
