Meet our sturdy baby Toyota Hiace, Lil Edi.
We first got Edi to do a lap around Australia, two months later into the build, we had some amazing news and fell pregnant. There goes our trip around Australia but the pregnancy did not stop us. Edi was eager to get out to places and so we took him out on adventures with our bub and two dogs.
Edi has had plenty of adventures, from weekend camping festivals to completing a 3month east coast trip with no issues.
Lil Edi is ready to meet more friends and keen to travel more with them. Make him happy and plan your next holiday with Lil Edi!
Details of inclusions:
- Manual Transmission
- Built in Kitchen with all pantry and cutlery essentials. Full gas bottle included in hire.
- 22L drinking water container included. Can add more containers at extra charge.
- Fixed bed always so you don’t have to set up. Size is a double sized bed.
- Darche 2.5m x 2.5m Awning
- Yakima 26l Water Tank (Outdoor Shower)
- Petrol Tank takes 45l which roughly gives you 400km-450km mileage depending on type of driving.
- AC NOT working. However, windows are so you will be able to keep cool in summer while driving.
- Fully Off-grid with 12V system. Plenty of USB ports and cigarette points to charge your essential needs. 12V to 24V inverter included in booking. It is a dual battery set up so batteries will always get charged whether you’re driving or parked in the sun.
- 50L Dometic Fridge with Freezer
- Plenty of storage. We did a 3-month trip with our bubs and two dogs and there was more storage to be used.
- Frying pan and Cooking Pot
- -Chopping boards, knives, cutlery, plates, cups, salt+pepper
- Reading lights with USB chargers
- Outdoor shower / rinse off hose (cold water only)

Hiring rules
- 200kms travel allowed per day in booking
- Additional 0.40c per KM to accommodate for van maintenance and general wear and tear.
- No smoking in van
- No 4x4 driving or offbeaten tracks allowed
- No beach driving allowed
- No cooking inside van
- Tolls will be charged at cost
- Full tank of gas on return
- Any damage must be reported immediately
- Please note that AC is currently NOT working.
- Please note ONLY outdoor shower included. No toilet in van.
- OPTIONAL EXTRAS message to book
- Cool Cabana: $40.00 per booking
- Additional Drinking Water container: $10.00 per booking
- UE Boom Bluetooth Speaker: $10.00 per booking

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Sai was super helpful and quick at responding to any messages and questions I had. Pick-up and drop-off was also super easy. Thanks Sai and Lil Edi we'll see you for the next adventure!
