Additional information

There is lots of storage for your own food with several overhead cupboards and a large fridge. Utensils, crockery and cookware are all provided. There are basic condiments such as oil, salt/pepper, tea and coffee. There are also tea towels, dish cloths and dish washing liquid. There are 3 sleeping areas: A queen bed over the cab accessed by the ladder, a coverted rear lounge queen bed and a middle double bed that is converted from the dining table.

Hiring rules

• 1. No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads.
• 2. Driving on unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing (in Camplify Messages) before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage
• 3. No smoking inside / no pets OR pets only upon application ($500.00 Cleaning & Deodorising Fee applies)
• 4. Hirer age restrictions 25 years old.
• 5. Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises, susceptible to damage with wind and also rain if not set up with a tilt to drain.
• 6. Vehicle must be returned cleaned or you’ll risk cleaning fees:Toilet Cassette must be emptied ($100.00 Disposal Fee applies). Chemical toilet liquid included at no charge for the duration of your hire Grey Water tank to be emptied prior to return ($50.00 Disposal Fee applies) Dishes, cutlery and pots to be cleaned prior to return ($50.00 Cleaning Fee applies), BBQ to be clean prior to return ($50.00 Cleaning Fee applies)
• 7. Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required.....take photos to assist with insurance claims.
• 8. Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 02 4075 2000 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!
• 9. Cooking gas to be returned full – refill from petrol stations with Elgas. Fuel is Diesel Return full
• 10. Long Trips Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 200 km's a day. This will be averaged out over the duration of hire Example: 7 days hire 7 x 200km Allowance: 1400km for hire permitted in the rate, additional kms will be charged at 39c per km and deducted on completion of the hire. There is a Linkt automatic toll tag attached to the vehicle. Any tolls accumulated during the hire will be billed to the hirer.
• 11. Payment of a deposit is required within 48hrs of your booking being approved, otherwise the booking may be cancelled.
• 12. Drop offs anywhere else anywhere between the Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast can be workd out at an agreed cost.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  My twins and I had a ball when we hired Wombat for our trip to Straddie. It was perfect for the three of us and the inclusions allowed us to have our own personal space to retreat too, chill out and cook all our meals. Steve was lovely to deal with and very responsive. Thank you again Steve.
