Really enjoyed our week in Joes refurbished van. Very comfortable and came with everything we needed - it was ideal for our purposes. A great festival base and easy set up / pack down for moving around. Joe was super friendly and helpful when we picked up and dropped off the vans and always responsive if we had any questions. Highly recommended Ventured Campers if you are planning a trip in or around the Brisbane area! Thanks again Joe!

Joe was incredibly friendly and informative when making the booking, picking up the van and returning it. Hes decked it out so well with very clever additions and amenities. Loved all the USB ports and pull out kitchen. Its a retro van so the air con isnt like modern cars but we were lucky the weather was relatively mild so could drive with the windows down. We also bought some cheap yoga mats to make the bed a bit softer. Wed definitely book it again. Thanks Joe and Eunice!

This is a vintage van, which shows every bit of its 40 years of age. The air con (external unit bolted in front of glove box) did not work and just leaked all over the floor, the engine constantly ran at over 110 degrees heating up the van to such a point that you could not stand on the floor and this did nothing to dispel the strong smell of fuel through the van. The electrics in the back of the van heated up the inside when charging. These issues just made the whole van an oven on wheels, alongside the old vinyl seats was in no way at all comfortable to drive. The pictures of the van show an internal gas cooker, however, this has been removed, there are buttons missing from controls and the curtains do not meet together and need a good clean and there is zero storage space for bags and clothes. he flyscreens supplied and in the pop top had all split and torn and the canvas it self is worn through and not waterproof at all. In essence, it is not like the pictures supplied. There is no power steering which makes it tough to maneuver into spots and you have to fit the steering from drifting along the highway. However, the linen was clean and fresh, the foam mattress was comfortable and the fridge worked well. This van is really only for a short trip up the highway for a couple of days camping in a caravan park, in the cooler winter months.

Probably the best holiday Ive ever had. Travelling in a van is something I wanted to do for a long time and Jean did not disappoint! Exceeded all expectations and would choose Joe and Eunice to hire a van from again. Really great communication and there was never anything they werent willing to take time up to help us with. Super grateful to have had this as a first experience. 10/10

We feel so fortunate to have borrowed Joe and Eunices amazing van for 2 nights. The van (Samson) was fun to drive and never skipped a beat. They had everything ready for us to hit the road and enjoy our time in the country. We had so many compliments everywhere we went! Highly recommend!!!

We had such a great time in this campervan! It was perfect for people whove never camped before super comfortable, easy to use, and had everything we needed, and even things we didnt know wed need! Even when it rained, we stayed completely dry and cosy. We also had people coming up to us, complimenting the van and its design, colour and wood work. We were also super impressed with how spacious it is. The owners was really helpful and accommodating, taking the time to explain everything during the handover including giving us extra camping chairs and lawn games. Drop off process was also extremely easy. Highly recommend for a first-time camping experience!

We had a very good time with Jean, road trips are always better with vintage cars! Driving Jean was very easy and works super well, we had no problem at all and they provided us everything we needed for the trip! The communication with Joe and Eunice was really easy and super fast, we felt we can really rely on them straightway!! When we come back to Brisbane we will definitely rent again and would suggest my friends to rent from them:)

We loved our first time in a campervan, Samson has all the features you would expect from a self-contained campervan plus a powerfull V6 engine which makes the difference on the road.

We had a good time. There was an electrical problem with the motor that needed a callout. Took a few hours but was fixed. Happily it occurred in a convenient spot and not in a remote location. I gather this was a known issue and will be fixed. Be aware there is no space for clothing or food (apart from the fridge) so everything has to be in bags / boxes on the limited floor space or on the fixed bed. We didn't use the toilet and should have left this behind so we had a locker. Good fridge, good lighting, good cooking facilities, plentiful water, robust battery supplies for the van. Sufficient electrical outputs for when on 240v power. The van is vintage (no power steering) and rather noisy above 80km/h. Joe was a fantastic owner and was available and helpful at all times. With these caveats we would hire the van again but probably not for a long trip

Great. Bilbo has all you need and more. Owner was great to deal with, very helpfull. Van may be vintage, but runs very well.
