Camplify is Australia's largest community of motorhome owners renting out their own vehicles. More choice in more towns, real motorhomes with real reviews, and an owner who shows you the ropes before you drive away.
Everyone rides together, the beds are made up in the back, and there is no caravan to hitch or reverse. Filter to four or more berths for bunks and a separate parents' bed.
A standard car licence covers most motorhomes (under 4.5 tonnes), and they are automatic with a reversing camera. Owners give you a hands-on go-through at pickup, so you leave feeling confident.
Every Camplify booking includes protection as standard, with the option to reduce your excess. A refundable security deposit is shown on the booking summary before you pay.
Owners set their own daily rate, and many add weekly or longer-stay discounts that apply automatically when you choose your dates. What you see on the booking screen is what you pay.
Live listings of motorhomes across Australia, from compact two-berth models you can park anywhere to family motorhomes with bunks. Browse the full range with the motorhome filter.

Everyone in one vehicle, no towing
The kids buckled in the back, the beds made up, the kettle ready for the first stop. Nothing to hitch, nothing to reverse at the park. You just drive, and the holiday comes with you.
)
A home on wheels with a bathroom
Kitchen, real beds, and a toilet and shower on board. Pull up for the night almost anywhere, run the lights and fridge off solar, and you are set up without a powered site.
)
Bring the dog
Around half the motorhomes on Camplify are pet-friendly, so the dog rides along. No kennel, no guilt, just a co-pilot who is thrilled to be on the trip.
)
A motorhome is the whole holiday in one vehicle. Breakfast cooked in the kitchen with the door open to the view, the kids still in the bunks, and the day decided over coffee. Most Camplify motorhome trips run about a week, booked a month or so ahead.
Because everything is on board, the kitchen, the beds, the bathroom and solar power, you are not tied to a powered site. Settle into a holiday park when you want the pool and the camp kitchen, or pull up somewhere quiet for a night and have the place to yourselves.

)
The motorhomes on Camplify belong to people who drive and travel in them themselves. At pickup they walk you through everything, the gas and water, the solar, how the bed folds out, how to empty the toilet, and how it handles on the road, so a first-time motorhome driver leaves confident.
They know the routes too. Which parks have the easy drive-through sites, where the free camps are, the lookout worth the detour. Message the owner on the Camplify app with your dates and ask where they would go; the answer comes from someone who has driven that exact motorhome to that exact spot.
Find a motorhome and message the ownerHow much does it cost, and are there discounts for longer trips?
Owners set their own daily rate, so prices vary by van, season and location. Many build in weekly and longer-stay discounts that apply automatically when you select your dates, so a week often works out cheaper per night. The full price is shown before you commit.
Do I need a special licence to drive a motorhome?
For most motorhomes, no. A standard Australian car licence covers any motorhome up to 4.5 tonnes, which is the large majority of vehicles on Camplify. Only a few very large motorhomes need a light-rigid (LR) licence. The listing shows the weight, and the owner will confirm if you are unsure.
I have never driven a motorhome. Is it hard?
Less than you would think. Most are automatic with a reversing camera, and you sit up high with a clear view. The owner gives you a hands-on go-through at pickup, covering driving, parking and the on-board systems, so you leave confident. Take the first hour gently and you will settle in quickly.
Does the motorhome have a toilet and shower?
Most motorhomes have a bathroom with a toilet and shower on board, plus a kitchen and solar power for the fridge and lights. That means you can stay self-contained for a night off-grid, not only on powered sites. The listing lists exactly what is fitted.
What protection comes with the motorhome?
Every Camplify booking includes protection as standard, and you can reduce your excess for extra peace of mind. A refundable security deposit applies and is shown on the booking summary before you pay. The cover is built into your booking, so it is sorted for you.
Can I take the motorhome on unsealed or off-road tracks?
Most motorhomes are built for sealed roads, and unsealed or off-road driving sits outside the protection cover for a standard vehicle. Stick to the bitumen and the caravan-park network and you have most of Australia covered. Confirm any dirt-road plans with the owner first.
How does motorhome hire on Camplify actually work?
Search motorhome hire by your pickup town and dates, send the owner a request to book, and pay a deposit to confirm. At pickup the owner does a go-through of the vehicle with you and checks your licence, then it is yours for the trip. Everything, including messages, runs through the Camplify app.
Can I cancel if my plans change?
Each owner sets their own cancellation policy, and it is always shown on the listing before you book. If flexibility matters for your trip, check the policy and choose a motorhome with terms that suit you.
Can I bring my dog?
Often, yes. More than 900 of the motorhomes on Camplify are pet-friendly. Use the pet-friendly filter, confirm the details with the owner, and the dog comes too.
