Barney is a lovingly restored, completely self-sufficient, fully renovated caravan. He is very lightweight and engineered for easy towing which makes him perfect for first time campers and seasoned campers alike. There is minimal set up or pack down required - simply park on up at your campsite and start relaxing! Barney includes a spacious interior that includes all the modern comforts designed to make your trip cosy and comfortable. Featuring a queen size master bed and fully equipped kitchen, there is also a versatile dining table and lounge area that seamlessly converts into a bunk bed set up for night time. He is the ideal choice for families, couples or friends travelling together who are seeking a completely stress free and effortless camping experience. We offer discounts for bookings longer than 14 days*. This will be manually applied after the booking is approved. We have free parking on our property and our location is conveniently situated in Brisbane (15 mins from Brisbane CBD). We offer flexible pick up (anytime after 8am) and drop off (anytime until 5pm) times. We are also festival and pet friendly! Please note the airport delivery fee includes return transfer. We unfortunately do not offer one way trips. We love nothing more than seeing our vans out on amazing adventures and happy campers creating life long memories on the road! Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

We are Joe and Eunice Hurley - a married couple from Brisbane, Australia.  In mid 2018, we quit our jobs, sold most of our belongings and flew to London, where we bought a vintage 1988 Fiat Ducato van. We renovated the interiors and then travelled all over Europe for 13 months in what was the road trip of our lives. We clocked over 31,000km and experienced the European continent in all its seasons. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to start a vintage campervan rental idea when we got home so that more people can experience the amazing adventure and freedom that comes with vanlife. This is when Ventured Campers was born. Living a simple and adventurous life on the road without having to compromise on the cosy comforts of home. We hope to inspire others to venture out and explore Australia in one of our rolling homes.
