Camplify is Australia's largest community of caravan owners renting out their own vans. More choice in more towns, real vans with real reviews from other families, and an owner who knows the van and can often tow it to your site for you.
Filter to four or more berths and browse caravans with real bunks, a separate parents' bed, a kitchen and an awning. Interior photos show the layout before you book.
Tow it with your own car if you have the towing capacity and an electric brake controller. No tow vehicle? Many owners deliver the caravan to your park and set it up, so you never touch a tow bar.
Every Camplify booking includes protection as standard, with the option to reduce your excess. A refundable security deposit is shown on the booking summary before you pay.
Owners set their own daily rate, and many add weekly or longer-stay discounts that apply automatically when you choose your dates. What you see on the booking screen is what you pay.
Live listings of caravans across Australia, from family vans with bunks to easy-tow pop-tops and off-road vans. Browse the full range with the caravan filter.

A family base at the caravan park
Bunks for the kids, a real bed for the parents, an awning for the wet afternoons, and a jumping pillow two sites over. A caravan turns a holiday park into a week the kids remember.
)
Tow it with your own car
If you have a vehicle with the towing capacity and an electric brake controller, hitch up and go. Owners walk you through the van at pickup and help you check the hitch and load.
)
No tow car? Have it delivered
Plenty of owners deliver the caravan to your park or campsite, level it, and set up the annexe, then collect it at the end. You never tow a thing. It is the part a depot fleet cannot do.
)
A family caravan gives everyone their own corner. Kids in the bunks reading by torchlight, one parent cooking under the awning, the other walking back from the camp kitchen, neighbours in similar vans on both sides and the kids already off making friends. Most Camplify caravan trips run about a week, booked a month or so ahead.
Set up once and the caravan park becomes home base. Pool in the morning, beach in the afternoon, dinner at the van, and the same view out the door for as long as you booked it. No packing up the car every day.

The caravans on Camplify belong to people who tow and camp in them themselves. Many will deliver the van to your park, level it, hitch up the power and water, and roll out the awning before you arrive, then come back and pack it down at the end. You turn up to a holiday that is already set up.
They know the van and the region too. Which parks have the good camp kitchen, the sites with afternoon shade, the spots the kids love. Message the owner on the Camplify app with your dates and ask where they would go; the answer comes from someone who has parked that exact van at that exact site.
Find a caravan and message the ownerDo I need towing experience, and what can tow a caravan?
You need a vehicle with enough towing capacity for the van's loaded weight, an electric brake controller, and towing mirrors. Many owners ask about your tow vehicle and experience before confirming, and walk you through hitching at pickup. If you have never towed, our beginner's guide to towing is a good start - or choose a delivered caravan and skip towing entirely.
What if I do not have a car that can tow?
Then have it delivered. Many caravan owners on Camplify will tow the van to your caravan park or campsite, level it and set it up, and collect it at the end - so you never need a tow vehicle. Use the delivered caravans filter and confirm the delivery fee and distance with the owner before you book.
What licence do I need to tow a caravan?
A standard Australian car licence covers towing most caravans, as long as the combined weight of your vehicle and the van stays within your licence and vehicle limits. Very large rigs can need more, so check the van's weight against your vehicle's towing capacity. The owner can confirm the van's weight for you.
What protection comes with the caravan?
Every Camplify booking includes protection as standard, and you can reduce your excess for extra peace of mind. A refundable security deposit applies and is shown on the booking summary before you pay. The cover is built into your booking, so it is sorted for you.
Can I take the caravan on unsealed or off-road tracks?
Most caravans are built for sealed roads and caravan parks, and unsealed or off-road touring sits outside the protection cover for a standard van. If your trip needs dirt roads or remote camps, filter for an off-road caravan whose owner lists it as suitable, and confirm the plan with them first.
How does caravan hire on Camplify actually work?
Search caravan hire by your pickup town and dates, send the owner a request to book, and pay a deposit to confirm. At pickup (or delivery) the owner checks the hitch, brakes and load with you and hands over the van. Everything, including messages, runs through the Camplify app.
How much does it cost, and are there discounts for longer trips?
Owners set their own daily rate, so prices vary by van, season and location. Many build in weekly and longer-stay discounts that apply automatically when you select your dates, so a week often works out cheaper per night. Delivery, if you choose it, is quoted as a line item before you commit.
Can I cancel if my plans change?
Each owner sets their own cancellation policy, and it is always shown on the listing before you book. If flexibility matters for your trip, check the policy and choose a van with terms that suit you.
Can I bring my dog?
Often, yes. More than 3,000 of the caravans on Camplify are pet-friendly. Use the pet-friendly filter, confirm the details with the owner, and the dog comes too.
It is our first caravan trip. Where should we start?
Start with our caravan tips for beginners and the survival guide for first-time family caravanners, then pick a family-friendly caravan park close to home for the first trip. A delivered van and a park an hour away is the easiest possible way to find your feet.
