We consider these vehicles as the safest and most fit for purpose in the Australian Outback. Wider Wheels: reduces the amount you need to reduce tire pressure which reduces punctures and in our opinion gives better handling and braking. CB Radio: Form of communication in the Outback and communication with Road Trains and other road users. (Safer overtaking) Recovery Equipment: Air compressor, snatch trap, shackles, axe, gloves, spade. Trackers: So we are able to trace where you are some diagnostics of the vehicle First Aid Kits, Fire Extinguisher, High Vis Stickers, Deep Cycle Long lasting dual batteries

Hiring rules

• This vehicle is permitted on Hema Map Roads only (recognised sealed and unsealed roads)
• vehicle is not permitted on the Ningaloo Coastal reserve or to Cross Yardie Creek.
• Deposit must be paid within 48 hrs of booking approval.
• Strictly NO water crossings or driving near saltwater. Subject to warm water wash.
• Vehicle to be returned clean inside and out otherwise cleaning fees will apply.
• Strictly NO smoking or pets
• Report any damage ASAP!
• Drive to the road rules and conditions
• Yard hours are weekdays 8 am 5 pm. Please note that afterhour pickup and return will be charged a fee of $110.00.
• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133, they will advise you how to call the NRMA. Then call/txt me.

  Holidays were amazing. Couldnt get a better option than that. Troopy has plenty of power and manual gearbox to make driving fun. Plenty of room even for 190cm+. PopUp roof was easy to use and gave plenty of space to be inside and sleep. Fitout is simple and worked great. Everything you need is there and easy to use and access.

  We had a great time in the Troopy hired from Jayden, and I would not hesitate to hire again. I really noticed how well setup the vehicle was, you can tell that the owner actually uses these himself and has supplied everything you could need. The kitchen was well setup, with every utensil you could need, razor sharp knives, a colander, and even two stoves so you have a quick and easy setup if you only want to make a cup of coffee. After hiring form several other nationwide hire agencies which provide only the bare essentials and sometimes not that, this personal consideration was a breath of fresh air. The vehicle itself was very well setup. The wide (matching) proper all terrain tyres handled very well offroad and in sandy soil. The full recovery gear gave me peace of mind. The powerful engine gave me confidence driving on the highway with large trucks and slow caravans and all the conflict this creates. The vehicle felt very safe to be driving to remote parts of Australia in. The vehicle does have ~ 380,xxx kilometres on the odo, but it's also a Toyota Troopcarrier which is a reliable long lasting vehicle. I had no issues with it, the vehicle started easily every time, the coolant temperature stayed dead steady no matter what I did. When I was under the bonnet hooking up a solar panel, I looked at the install date on both batteries and found one was only a year old and the other 3 months old. This is again refreshing after hiring form large chains that give dead batteries where your fridge will stop running after a few hours. The interactions I had with Jayden were great, he gave good advice on locations to visit, the drop off service to wherever you are in Perth was incredibly helpful, and he was very flexible. I honestly really enjoyed my time with this Troopy, and would recommend it to anyone else.
