HOME AWAY FROM HOME Norman the Nova really is a luxury apartment on wheels. The double slide out accommodates the lounge and bed - leaving a huge inside space to relax. He has: * Three permanently fixed Smart TVs - 240v 55” LG in lounge room with Bose soundbar, 12v 35” TV in bedroom and 240v 45” permanently mounted Hisense outside (with sound bar). * Good sized and well appointed kitchen including coffee machine * Full ensuite with separate toilet and shower, and full length mirror * 3kg front load washing machine. Permanently mounted external washing line and internal clothes aired. * HEAPS of storage * 180 litres of fresh water and 90 litre grey water tank * 3000amp inverter for off-grid convenience * 300 ah lithium batteries * 700w of solar power on the roof * Hot water * Sirocco ceiling fans for off-grid cooling If you’re after a stylish apartment while you travel, Norman is your perfect pick.

Additional information

Norman is 4t - so can only be towed by large SUV’s or trucks: e.g. RAM, Silverado, F150 or larger. A 12 point flat pin and electric brake controller are both required by law to tow this vehicle. All three smart TV’s will need to be connected to your data to work. A DVD player is provided that automatically streams to all three TV’s without internet connection.

Hiring rules

  • Hirer must empty toilet before returning. Failure to do so will attract an automatic $250.00 cleaning fee.
  • The van must be returned / left in the same condition as it was delivered / picked up. A cleaning fee of $75.00 per hour will be applied otherwise.
  • NO SMOKING IN VAN. Smoking requires a full deep clean, which you will be responsible for paying for, and for the loss of any bookings while the van is being cleaned.
  • Hirer must be 30 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    The van was fantastic, basically an apartment on wheels with all of the amenities included. Donna and Wayne were fantastic hosts and even dropped everything when we had issues with the aircon. 10/10 would hire again!

An avid outdoors lover, I spent two and a half years full-time caravanning solo around Australia in my awesome Betsy. Despite the lure of returning to corporate life, I followed my heart and established Edward River Caravan and Camper Hire. This allows me to share my knowledge and love of caravanning and Australian travel with others. We're located in Deniliquin, NSW, which rests of the banks of the gorgeous Edward River, a quieter anabranch of the Murray. Only three and a half hours drive from Melbourne, Deni (as it's affectionately known) is an outdoor lovers dream with water skiing, boating, fishing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, gorgeous caravan parks, national parks and even an absolute riverside, dog friendly free-camp right in town. Deni is also home to the famous Deni Ute Muster, usually held over the October long weekend each year. Whether you've been to Deni and surrounds before or not, it's time to book your next getaway.
