Lightweight pop top camper suitable for towing with most smaller SUV’s, up to larger 4WD’s (it has a low tow ball weight). Save money on fuel by towing something more aerodynamic & lighter weight than a big van. Very quick to set up - about 10minutes. Like a pop top caravan with a little more winding to lift the roof. Sleeps 2 adults in the double bed and 1 other (under 170cm) on the dinette that converts to a bed. If you don’t need the 3rd sleeping space it won’t be supplied and will be set up as the table & couch.
Tents & self inflating mats are available for extras persons (2 person OzTrail instant up tent) at an additional charge. A variety of other add ons are also available upon booking such as gas shower, pop up ensuite, portaloo, bike carrier

An Elecbrakes brake controller is supplied. This uses Bluetooth to operate. Please download the Elecbrakes app prior to collection if making a booking. Vehicles with an electric brake controller already installed will still have to use the Elecbrakes app as any other brake controller wiring is bypassed on the trailer side so not to cause problems with wired-in brake controllers.

Additional information
Please DON’T clean Penny's exterior before return. I don’t charge a cleaning fee, hence why the hiring fee is a little higher. Penny has a couple of small leaks & if the hose gets angled the wrong way, it forces water inside and is a pain to dry out. As an ex car detailer I’m also pretty fussy with the cleanliness of my cars & camper so I’d prefer just to clean it myself! There is a broom, dustpan & a 12v blower supplied to clean the interior floor prior to returning Penny. Please give benches a wipe and don't let water sit on the sink bench surrounds.

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

About the owner
Hi I'm Heather! I am located in Marian QLD (west of Mackay), part of the beautiful Pioneer Valley. Gateway to Queensland's newest and best mountain bike park, Finch Hatton MTB, a short 20 minute drive away. There is a campground at the FInch Hatton Showgrounds right across the road from the MTB park. If you are flying in for biking, I can do airport pickup & attach the Rockymounts High Noon 2 bike carrier to transport your bikes. It is suitable for anything up to an E-MTB 27kg max per bike.
We also have Eungella National Park on our doorstep where you can spot a Platypus while camped at Broken River, hike the Mackay Highlands Great Walk or head to Eungella Dam for a bit of off-grid R&R.
I have many years camping experience and I'm a bit of a camping gear nerd. All my campers & vehicles for hire are well set up for either a caravan park setting or off-grid camping. I have a shed full of camping gear for all occasions, so if you're after some extras not listed to add onto your hire, then I've likely got it - just ask.
