Hiring rules

- Please answer all questions at time of booking request. This assists us in ensuring your suitability for our motorhome.
- SERVICE FEE & CLEAN OPTIONS
- This small fee contributes towards the costs of consumables like gas, water & prehandover clean, safety check and a thorough return COVID Safe clean. (Please note the service fee does not cover the general clean of the van if you choose to return the motorhome dirty or the toilet cassette not emptied then please select the Clean the Motorhome or the Clean the Motorhome & Toilet Option).
- Bay RV Hire respectfully requests that hirers wipe over all surfaces with the cleaner provided & empty the toilet cassette before returning the van. This keeps us all safe and saves you the hirer from incurring standard cleaning charges. If RV is returned in an unreasonable condition, charges will still apply. The Bay RV Hire team will then follow up with the thorough COVID SAFE clean ready for the next hirer.
- This is a current model motorhome so a full inspection will be carried out before and after the motorhome is hired.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the motorhome at anytime. Please be wary of smoke entering motorhome from outside.
- PICK UP & RETURN
- Pick Up Time after 8.30 am unless agreed prior. Return Time before 5 pm unless agreed prior.
- PETS
- Pets will need to be approved dependent on the size and behaviour of pet. Please no pets on bedding or seating at anytime.
- TRAVEL & DRIVING CONDITIONS
- The Motor home is not Off Road and therefore it is not insured or allowed for the following:
- NO OFF ROAD
- NO BEACH
- NO CORRUGATED ROADS
- NO EXTENDED GRAVEL ROADS
- There is solar so the Motorhome can be off the grid at suitable sites. Please only drive and park Motorhome up in accordance with road rules and local authorities.
- MILEAGE
- We allow 250 klm per day.
- It is calculated by the number of days you are hiring.
- Examples:
- 4 day hire 1000 klm limit
- 7 day hire 1750 klm limit
- 14 day hire 3500 klm limit
- 21 day hire 5250 klm limit
- 28 day hire 7000 klm limit
- For every extra klm over your limit there will be a charge of 40c per klm which will be processed at end of hire by Camplify.
- If you are considering travelling more than 250 klm per day on certain days perhaps book extra days to ensure safe travels and keep within your overall klm on your hire.
- EMERGENCY
- If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA. Then call Derek at Bay RV Hire 0400 22 55 66.
- DAMAGES
- No matter how small please report any damages or breakages to Bay RV Hire immediately.
- Children are to be supervised especially around control panels etc. Damages incurred will be at the cost of the hirer.
- The height of the Motorhome is 3.110 metres. PLEASE BE WARY OF HEIGHT when parking and driving to avoid damage by overhead trees, bridges, etc. Please ensure all windows and roof fans and antenna closed before travel.
- FUEL
- The Motorhome takes DIESEL. Please be wary to use correct fuel to avoid an extremely costly error. The Motorhome will be ready for your departure with a full tank. It must be returned with a full tank otherwise $3.00 per litre will be charged to hirer.
- TOLLS & TRAFFIC INFRINGMENTS
- Tolls and or traffic infringements will be the responsibility of the hirer. These will be paid by hirer on return of the motorhome or a date received.
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
