🔹 Electric Brake Controller & Towing Mirrors included with every hire. 🔹 The van comes with a 12 pin plug – we have adapters to suite all Australian standard plugs 🔹 The Electric Brake Controller we use is called Elecbrakes & runs via a free app on your phone. This can be controlled with your phone. If your vehicle already has a brake controller fitted, then ours can just be disconnected & you can use yours. Instruction on the operation of the Elecbrake will be given to you at the handover. DELIVERY / SET-UP OPTION: 🔹 Outback 2 Sea offers deliveries up to 500kms from our Sippy Downs depot. If you need something delivered further than this, please contact us. 🔹 The cost is calculated at $2.80 per Km (with a $180.00 minimum) 🔹 The delivery distance is calculated for drop off and collection. I.e. If the delivery destination is 100kms then the charge would be $560.00. 🔹 The fee also includes set up and pack up of the van at your chosen destination. 🔹 You do not need to meet us at your site when we deliver. We will liaise with the caravan park & have it set up, ready & waiting for you when you arrive. 🔹 Delivery is subject to the availability of drivers. 2. ARE THE CARAVANS INSURED? 🔹 All Caravans at Outback 2 Sea are comprehensively insured 🔹 The policy does not cover accidental underbody damage caused from off-road use. 🔹 The minimum age to tow or drive any Outback 2 Sea Camper or Caravan is 25. 5. WHAT IS THE ACCIDENT EXCESS REDUCTION - “HAPPY CAMPER” OR “RISK TAKER” 🔹 This is a Camplify Product which gives you the option to reduce the excess you are liable for in the event of an accident or damage whilst on hire. This option is selected in the booking process.
Hiring rules
- ℹ️ GENERAL: ℹ️
- 🔹 It is your responsibility to ensure your tow vehicle has the correct towing capacity for the caravan you have booked. The tow capacity required can be found under the section called “About the caravan”.
- 🔹 No Smoking or vaping in or near the Caravans. A smokers cleaning fee of $300.00 will be charged if this is not adhered to.
- 🔹 Small Pets are allowed but must remain off all the beds & furniture at all times. All pet hair must be cleaned & no traces remaining. Failure to do this will incur a cleaning fee of $300.00. Please make sure you select the pet fee when you place your booking.
- 🔹 No Loose items to be placed on the floor of the caravan, everything must be in a cupboard this is to prevent items moving whilst driving & causing damage .
- 🔹 Ensure that any extra items loaded in the caravan are distributed evenly. (if you are not sure where to pack things ask us).
- 🔹 Off road or beach driving IS NOT ALLOWED in this caravan however, a 10km dirt road to access your campsite is fine. Please ensure you drive to the road conditions
- 🔹 If you abandon the caravan at any point during your hire, the full cost of recovery & any associated cleaning charges will be at your cost.
- 🔹 If you have hired a BBQ from us it needs to be returned clean. A cleaning brush & BBQ wipes are supplied for this. If it is not cleaned then a cleaning fee of $100.00 will be charged to you.
- 🔹 Sheets must be used on the beds even when using a sleeping bag (this is to keep the mattress & mattress protector free of dirt Thank you. Heavily soiled or stained mattress protectors will incur a treatment & launder or replacement fee.
- 🔹 Report any damage to us, even if minor so we can make sure it is replaced/fixed for the next hire. We understand that accidents happen so will work with you in conjunction with Camplify to rectify things where needed.
- 🔹 The caravan must be free of any mud, sand, pet hair & red dust (both inside & outside) unless you have paid the extra cleaning fee for us to do it for you. This fee can be added & paid for at pick up or on return of the van if you realise you will need this. Failure to adhere to this will result in a cleaning fee of up to $300.00
- 🔹 Emptying & cleaning the toilet will incur a $200.00 fee if not done before returning the van to us
- 🧹 CLEANING: 🧹
- 🔹 We ask that you leave the inside of the van tidy with all dishes washed, food spills wiped up, rubbish thrown away & floors swept out.
- 🔹 Road Owl 11 must be free of any mud, sand, pet hair & red dust (both inside & outside) unless you have paid the extra cleaning fee for us to do it for you. This fee can be added & paid for at pick up or on return of the van if you realise you will need this. Failure to adhere to this will result in a cleaning fee of up to $300.00
- 🔹 Emptying & cleaning the toilet will incur a $200.00 fee if not done before returning the van to us

- 🔹 Standard Rate $120.00/day 3 day minimum
- 🔹 Peak Rate $160.00/day (QLD School Holidays) 7 day minimum. We will accept shorter bookings closer to the date if there are any gaps available or at our discretion
- 🔹 25% Deposit to be paid in order to secure your booking – your booking will auto cancel as per Camplifys policy if no payment is received within 72 hrs. If you need more time or have any problems please call us on 0419677780 or leave a message on the Camplify platform
- 🔹 Final Payment automatically debited from your nominated card 30 days before your hire begins this is taken out automatically by Camplify

Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Nicole 5.0This is the 3rd time we have hired a van from Outback to Sea and we are always happy with our stay. We have the van towed out to The Gympie Music Muster and Greg and Lauren set it up for us ready for the week. This year we had some trouble with the hot water and Greg went out of his way to get a part and traveled all the way back in to fix the issue ensuring we had hot water for our showers. Communication is excellent and we have already booked for next year 10/10
