This is a full sized family caravan setup for free camping or glamping at a caravan park. Simply find your idyllic spot and after a quick 10 minute setup you will be ready to relax and enjoy your holiday in style. Our van will keep you comfortable all year round with reverse cycle AC, toilet/shower, television, retractable awning and much more (see additional information below). We are located in Sale in scenic Central Gippsland and can offer RV drop off, setup and pick up to a maximum distance of 100km (pending owner availability) for an additional charge (see standard charges to popular destinations in the additional information below).

Special towing information

Driver must be a minimum age of 25 years, experienced with towing large heavy loads and responsible for ensuring their vehicle is legally capable of towing the caravan. Minimum vehicle towing capacity of 2.5 tonne (noting Tare weight of 2230kg limits cargo capacity to 270kg including water if planning to free camp). Vehicle must also be rated for minimum 130kg tow ball weight. Tow vehicle must be equipped with electric brake controller and 12 pin flat plug. ALKO Electronic Stability Control (ECS) is fitted to the caravan and requires separate red Anderson plug connected to car battery to operate. Reversing camera is fitted to caravan, however towing vehicle will need to be wired to enable use of the monitor (Safety Dave type). Towing mirrors and hitch can be made available pending availability - please advise if you require these items ahead of the booking.

Additional information

Our van is complete with queen bed, triple bunks, combined toilet/shower, vanity, kitchen, lounge area, TV with DVD player, stereo, reverse cycle air-conditioning and plenty of storage. The kitchen is equipped with gas cooktop, grill, water filter, cutlery, bowls, plates, utensils and basic cooking equipment. Outside the van has a retractable awning with optional annex (additional charge), external TV point for watching the big game and speakers. We have also included tables and camping chairs to accommodate the whole family. Should you want to take advantage of free camping, the van is setup with solar panels and a battery to run lights, water pump, TV and provide 12V power (useful for charging your devices). There are two water tanks that provide up to 140 litres of fresh water. Gas bottles enable use of the hot water service and fridge without draining the battery. Hiring rules

  • Caravan must be returned in same condition as at pick up. Hirer is required to report any damage that occurs during the hire period no matter how minor.
  • This caravan is for onroad use only no dirt, heavy corrugation or red dust roads. Insurance does not cover off road use, therefore hirer is liable for any damage.
  • Strictly no smoking in the van or in close proximity with open windows.
  • If you want to make life easy for yourself, why not select the 'clean the Van for me (excluding toilet)' or 'clean the Van for me (including toilet)' ** options. Then you can just unpack your gear and we will clean it for you. However, please note that this option does not cover mud, sand or excessive soiling of the interior or exterior in this case additional cleaning fees will apply.
  • **It is the hirer's responsibility to empty and replenish the toilet throughout the hire period when it reaches capacity.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    First time caravaners and we couldn't have picked a better host. Based on this experience with Scott, we now plan on doing this type of getaway twice a year. Scott met us at reception, guided the van into place, set it up, showed us the important bits and left us to it. Everything was provided, from cooking to cleaning and camp chairs / tables and even a box of board & card games for everyone.
