Special towing information Please check the above weights and your vehicle's towing capacity. If you require further information, please let us know in your booking request. An Electronic Brake Controller (EBC) is required to tow this caravan. This is a device that controls the brakes in the caravan based on the tow vehicle braking. If you have an EBC fitted to your vehicle you can of course use your own. If you do bring your own and you don't have a 7-pin flat plug on your tow vehicle, you will need to bring your own adaptor to adapt your trailer plug to suit the male 7-pin plug on the caravan. We currently do have a portable/universal EBC for hire or check with us if we are able to deliver the van on your required dates. Towing mirrors are always recommended. We can provide please select as an optional extra. EMERGENCY - If an accident occurs, please don't panic. Move off the road, stay safe, and (if required) call emergency services on 000 and then call Camplify on 1300 416 133 - They will advise the hirer on how to contact roadside assistance to assist. DAMAGE - If damage happens, please report it immediately - This gives us the best opportunity to make arrangements for repairs ahead of the next hire to avoid having to cancel or upset the plans of our next booking. Please make a point of writing down who, what, where, and when and take some photos of the damage/scene and other vehicles or persons present as well as this may come in handy. Additional information OUR VAN IS PERFECT FOR: ● Short and long-term travel - Yes we can provide discounts for longer stays! Just ask us! ● The family escape - Comfortably sleeps 4 - Ideal for 2 adults (king) - This van can sleep 2 children or 2 adults with seating area/table conversion. ● Solo travellers, Grey nomads, Digital nomads, & Couples – There is lots of storage. ● Hassle-free short-term accommodation for interstate visits, birthday bashes, weddings, family reunions, or just an additional room for visiting guests. ● A temporary & comfortable accommodation solution while renovating or building. ● New caravan buyers, who want to try before they buy. ● Local & outback exploring. ● Longer Interstate trips or even to complete your own "big lap" of Australia. ESSENTIAL INFORMATION ● Sleeps 4 (A king bed), plus convertible lounge-meals area allows the van to sleep 2 more (if required). ● Delivery available, depending on location and hire length, or pick up from Busselton or between Denmark & Albany (further details below). ● The Caravan is 7.01m (23 feet) long and 2.3m (7.5 feet) wide. Towing specifics are detailed above. ● 3 to 4-day minimum hire (note longer hire periods do apply to certain peak period dates. ● Minimum hirer age is 25 (younger hirers (older than 21) may be accepted on further consideration). ● Large Sedan, SUV, 4x4, or Large 4x4 required to tow (see specific towing details above for van weights), if you are unsure if your vehicle can tow this van just let us know what you are driving (make model, and year) in your booking request and we will check into it for you ● Pets are not allowed, sorry, some people have allergies to pets. We are planning to add another van in the future that will be pet friendly. ● This van is suitable for off-road (not corrugated, rutted or un-made roads) or any beach usage at all. Short trips on gravel roads (in and out of camp etc) will be considered. Just mention this in your booking request. ● 2 x TV’s supplied both with built-in DVD player plus each TV has a dongle allowing streaming from your Netflix and Google accounts, internet browsing on the TV, and also screen mirroring onto the TV, from your smart device. LOCATION ● This caravan is available for pick-up most times by arrangement in Busselton or between Denmark & Albany. ● The Busselton pick up point is in central Busselton and is well positioned for trips in the Margaret River or Great Southern Regions. Our drop-off service allows for convenience for trips to within these areas. ● Delivery (and setup) is available on request (see further details below) DELIVERY & PICK UP is included if you select the optional extra at time of booking. ● Timing is fairly flexible. ● Regional drop-off is possible by arrangement and is subject to location & both our mutual availability. ● If you have specific requirements, or are outside of these areas, please let us know in your booking enquiry. ● We like to help out where we can to get your holiday off to a smooth start and to help out on your return. CLEANING ● The caravan will be cleaned prior to departure. It is expected that it will be cleaned (to a similar standard) prior to return. ● Broadly this will require surfaces to be wiped over, floors swept and vacuumed and any rubbish removed. ● All cooking surfaces and equipment, crockery, pots, pans, and utensils are to be left as clean as they were, prior to departure. ● Externally, a light spray and wash-over with a hose to remove any dust, mud, bug spots, and/or other debris will generally be sufficient, usually with a garden hose spray attachment but you can use a pressure sprayer (with sufficient care) or attend a car wash to use their lance/brush to remove heavier soiling. Drying the windows with a soft towel is recommended in order to prevent water spots/swirl marks. ● If you aren't able to or don't want to clean the van, we have a cleaning option you can select as an optional extra and we can take care of this for you. CARE OF THE VAN ● We ask that all hirers please take care of our van as they would if it was their own. This way, it can be kept in great condition for future hires. SERVICE CHARGE Our service charge covers; replacement starter pantry items, toilet chemicals, toilet paper, gas, cleaning supplies, and sundries, as well as time taken for stocking, checks, inspections, inventory, and handover. It is fairly modest considering what is supplied and the work involved and so unfortunately can't be discounted. LINEN CHARGE Our service charge covers; Basic linen use (see below) linen washing and changeover, we wash all items including doona and pillow covers and again is fairly modest considering what is required. CARAVAN SERVICING & SAFETY We keep up regular servicing on the van and a thorough inspection for cleanliness is performed after every trip to make sure the van is in tip-top shape for every hire. OPTIONAL HIRE EQUIPMENT We have a fair amount of optional additional gear available for hire with the caravan. ● We have a Weber Traveler BBQ which is supplied with one companion resealable gas canister, 3.5kVA Generator, Camping chairs & fold out table to name a few. ● See our optional extras listing when you make your booking request for further details. ● If you need something else in particular, please let us know and we will see what we can do! LINEN INFORMATION ● A mattress topper and mattress protector (for the king bed) will be supplied for each trip and must be used. If the linen option is added in addition to above; ● 2 x King Pillows & 2 x Standard pillows and one by Euro pillow, Pillow protectors (for the king bed) pillow slips, and organic linen fitted and flat sheets will be supplied plus a King Doona and Doona cover. ● 2 x Large Cotton Flannel Sleeping bags (which can be zipped together) 2 x Standard pillows & Pillow protectors for the lounge conversion bed. Please do not rebag if they have been used. ● These will be removed on return of the caravan and washed by ourselves on completion of your hire, included within and as part of the service charge. This service includes for us to strip & re-make the beds with fresh linen for each hire. ● This additional "Full Linen" service is priced at a total of $100.00 per trip (the "Full Linen" option), which also includes us washing and stripping, and remaking the beds for all of the additional linen. ● All of the caravan linen is thoroughly washed and inspected after every trip and has been specifically purchased to suit the sizes of the caravan mattresses and so we highly recommend using supplied linen. ● Plus it makes life easy for you and who doesn't want a little bit of that on their holiday. ● If you would like the "Full Linen" option please select the linen option to add this to your booking request. BOOKING INFORMATION ● Please book early and once your booking is approved, look to secure your booking by making payment of your deposit within 48 hours of your booking request being approved. ● We frequently get messages from people chasing booking dates and so stand to lose business if we hold on to your booking too long, without a deposit payment being made. SPECIAL OFFERS ● We may occasionally offer special deals for extended hires, last-minute bookings, and cancellations. DELIVERY We offer delivery and pickup at $2.00 per km (each way (including (any additional) distance for the outbound and return leg for both delivery and pick up)) with instructions and demonstration on set up and pack up included in the service fee all based on a minimum 3-night hire. Hiring rules ● NO OFF-ROAD USE / NO BEACH DRIVING - No extended travel on gravel roads or any off-road travel (travel on small sections on made but unsealed roads (roadworks or access roads) will likely be ok, but advise us first in all cases) - If in doubt, ask! ● NO SMOKING - Inside or around the caravan. (if the van smells of smoke a fee will be payable) ● CLEANING - Please return the caravan in clean condition inside and out. Hirer cleaning includes a basic wipe down of all equipment used, internal surfaces, sweep, and surface mop as well as cleaning the toilet and emptying the cassette and a wash over the outside, generally with a garden hose with spray attachment, pressure washer, or a car wash lance (or similar). The toilet if used must be cleaned and the tank emptied, or a toilet cleaning fee will apply. We can perform the cleaning for you, but this will incur an additional cleaning charge. AWNING - The awning must be packed away before bad weather occurs or if it is forecast. COLLECTION/DELIVERY - We will work you as best as possible to organise a mutually beneficial time. Please let us know if you have any further specific requirements. COOKING INSIDE - If cooking inside the caravan, all cooking surfaces (including the inside of the grill (if used)) and utensils must be thoroughly cleaned. BBQ - The BBQ (if optioned) must be cleaned prior to return or this will incur an additional cleaning charge. TRAVELING - No loose equipment, furniture, luggage, or other goods that might cause damage by movement within the caravan in transit, are to be transported inside the caravan at any time. All such items must otherwise be secured within the towing vehicle. HANDOVER INSPECTIONS - Before departure and on the return of the caravan, the Hirer must complete the handover inspection and checklist with the owner (a copy is provided in the guest caravan manual for reference). AGE RESTRICTION - The hirer age restriction is 25 years as of the time of the hire. Younger hirers (older than 21) may be considered. Hirer must be 25 years of age or older. Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
