Additional information

While it is a simple build, we've found it to be super efficient and spacious for travel or any trip you can imagine up or down the coast. It boasts all of the essentials, such as: bed (double), bedding (upon request), basic camp kitchen, plates/cups/cutlery (for two), tea and coffee, in addition to a spot to keep your (short; under 7ft) surfboard. ‘The Coaster‘ does not currently contain a fridge, however, we do include a small esky for essentials. Please note, DO use the lithium battery behind the driver's seat (generally lasts at least 7 days, if just being used for charging a phone etc) as the charging point on the vehicles' dashboard does not work and may potentially cause electrical issues with the vehicles locking system if used. In addition, please use the right hand side sliding door (driver's side) only, as the passenger side sliding door is pretty temperamental. If you experience any issues with the vehicles side door locking system at all throughout your trip, please simply use the backdoor of the van or two front doors as your exits. The bed set up is super functional in that it separates into two benches along each side of the van (e.g., during the day) and can be put together by sliding the piece of ply wood stored on the right hand side bench (driver's side), into the middle (ensuring that it is resting on the wood supports), and aligning the foam mattress pieces into place. Maximum load on the bed is 150kg.

Hiring rules

• BASICS: No offroad; No smoking inside; Pets only upon application; Hirer age restrictions (25 OR OVER); Standard pickup / dropoff times 07:30am unless special request.
• EMERGENCY: If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they will advise the Hirer how to contact NRMA/RAC. Then call us!
• DAMAGE: If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside
• UNSEALED ROADS: must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
• LONG TRIPS: 200 kms/day is included in the booking price. You will be charged 30.c per kilometre for additional km travelled over the total allowance. This is calculated within camplifys pre/post hire checklist
• FUEL: Please return full of UNLEADED. All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• CLEANING: Clean the equipment and van, if additional cleaning is required following return this will incur a charge.
• HIRER: Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.
