This is our 1998 Hiace, Wandi. He is a beautiful van with a new interior following his revamp in lockdown of 2021! Wandi is a fully kitted-out campervan that can support full-time van life on the road. With two solar panels, a 220W converter, fridge, water tank, indoor and outdoor stoves, awning, and mains power, he is the perfect pal to explore Victoria's amazing landscape. Wandi sleeps two adults and a max of two children in the top cabin. As he is a high top, adults can stand comfortably up to 185cm and children can have their own retreat in the top bunk. Please note, there is a weight capacity of 60kg on the cabin as the wood can only support so much. Wandi's parallel benches include two seat belts, alongside the three seats available at the front of the car. His spacious front cabin is perfect for long road trips in crown destinations such as the Great Ocean Road, Wilson's Prom, The Grampians or coastal destinations. With plenty of room and the capacity to provide both a double bed and a bench with a table, Wandi supports travelers who may need to work or learn on the road. Please note, as we need to be aware of how many kilometers Wandi's engine does, there is a 200km limit per day unless you hire for longer than 7 days. We hope you feel at home in our 1998 Hiace, and love him just as much as we do!

Additional information

An information book will be provided upon hiring, which explains proper care and requirements to which the hirer must comply. A full inspection of the vehicle will be conducted prior to and following the hire period. Wandi's speakers and radio are currently MIA. If you plan to groove to music, please provide your own speakers! Hirers under the age of 25 can hire Wandi, please contact us for details! As younglings ourselves, we understand the lust for the open road and want to support others in achieving their dream road trip.

Hiring rules

Please return the van with a FULL tank of petrol. All hires include a full tank on departure.
Exercise great caution when travelling on light unsealed roads. No Offroad 4X4 Tracks allowed or on sand beaches.

PICKUP AND DROPOFF TIMES
You are welcome to pick up your van after 10:00am, and we ask that it be dropped off by 5:00pm. This is negotiable (depending on other bookings)
Bookings for longer than 7 days: there is no limit on Km's! However, under one week of hiring, we request a maximum of 200km per day. (This is negotiable
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation Fees are as per Camplify Standard Policy.
AGE
A full inspection will be completed upon your return to ensure that no damage has occurred and everything is accounted for.
Driver must be above 21 years of age or the insurance is void. Drivers between 21 and 25 attract a higher insurance excess ($160.000)
CROSSING THE VIC BORDER TO OTHER STATES
This is allowed for hires longer that 7 Days. Please advise us of your travel plans when making the booking. If upon your travel you change your plans and intend to cross the border, please advise us ASAP.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $115.00 per day
Service fee: $60.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

The holiday was fine and the van ran smoothly. However the inside water system failed and we didn't have the information to fix it. The van was well equiped with household necessities but we suggest some teaspoons and breakfast bowls be also provided. Luisa was very friendly and helpful but a bit more information around the gas and water would have been good.

Thoroughly enjoyable few days in Wandi. The process was smooth and straight forward from the initial enquiry to returning Wandi. Luisa was an amazing host, with prompt, friendly and informative replies before our trip. Really appreciated her flexibility with pick up and drop off. Wandi was exactly as Luisa described, so no surprises there. Wandi had everything we needed plus plenty of character. Would hire again and recommend Wandi and Luisa to other travellers.
