Hiring rules

• 🚐 Hire Rules
• To keep the van in top condition for everyone, please follow these rules during your hire:
• No animals – Sorry, no pets allowed in the van.
• No smoking or vaping inside the van – A $300.00 extra cleaning/steam cleaning fee will be charged if the van smells of smoke.
• Check fuel type before every refuel – Using the wrong fuel can cause serious damage and will be charged in full to the hirer.
• No driving on unsealed roads – Stick to sealed bitumen roads only unless agreed in writing beforehand. (Except short access roads to Campsites that are well maintained)
• Daily distance limit – 200 km per day included in the hire. This is completely negotiable — message me if you need more.
• No towing, beach driving, water crossings, or river fording – These can cause serious damage not covered by standard insurance.
• No climbing on the roof – The roof and solar panels are not designed to support weight.
• Return the van with a full fuel tank – A refuelling charge will apply if returned low.
• Please note:
• Failure to follow these rules may result in additional charges, which may include:
• An extra cleaning fee of $250.00 if the van is returned excessively dirty.
• A fee of $50.00 will be charged if the van is returned moderate dirty.
• A $300.00 cleaning/steam cleaning fee for any stuborn odours or evidence of smoking inside the van.
• The cost of an undercarriage inspection if there’s reason to believe the van has been driven offroad.
• The full cost of any repairs to the camper conversion itself.
• The replacement cost of any equipment that is damaged or lost during the hire.
• Any costs associated with misfuelling, insurance excesses, or breaches of hire conditions.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  We had a great long weekend getaway in Hildi, she comes equipped with everything you could need in a camper, complete with charging ports, fans and dimmable strip lighting! The whole fit out is super modern, we were really impressed with the conversion. Jake was great to deal with, he was super available and helpful which made everything very smooth. I wouldnt hesitate to take Hildi on another adventure in the future

  We had the most amazing 5 weeks travelling from Perth all the way to Brisbane with a stop at the incredible Uluru on the way! Communication could not have been better with our hosts, they were quick to respond and allowed us to extend our trip easily when our plans changed. The van itself is so cosy, modern and practical. It has everything you could want/need to live in the van and the bed was lovely and comfy. We tried van life before and disliked it due to a bad van, this van completely changed our experience and meant we had the best time touring Australia. Dont hesitate to book this van!
