The 2016 Kea River Motorhome is impeccably appointed with quality features and offers super comfortable accommodation for travellers of all tastes. Beautifully crafted timber furniture and deluxe fittings add comfort and functionality to the spacious living and kitchen areas. Made by Kea in Melbourne and based on a Mercedes engine and chassis, this campervan will not disappoint for your next adventure. The campervan features a ready-to-sleep double bed over the drivers seats. The overhead bed is easily accessible by a moveable ladder. The back bed is easily assembled (just slot in extra piece, which takes literally 1 minute) and then there is another bed easily transformed in the seating area. In addition to an amazing lounge zone, the campervan has a dining zone so you can eat in comfort around a table. We ask you allow for about 1hr before you want to take off on your adventure. We ask you to treat our campervan with the same respect we will show you. We've include everything you need to keep the campervan clean. We want to make this a memorable experience for you and those travelling with you. We can drop the campervan to you and arrange to collect the campervan once your adventure is completed (for an additional fee) - just let us know your requirements at the time of booking and we can mutually agree on a service. Otherwise you are welcome to collect the campervan from the Eastern or Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. For those looking to make a long or extended booking we are happy to discuss a reduction on the daily rate. While we've tried to include everything you could want for your next amazing adventure, there are a few additional costs you may need to consider: - We'll give you 200km per day of travel averaged out over your hire period - for every kilometre over the full hire average of 200km per day we will charge you $0.40 per kilometre - Return the van as clean on the inside as we handed it over to you - or we will charge you $250.00 for a full internal clean - Return the van with an empty and clean toilet waste canister - or we will charge you $250.00 for us to empty and clean the toilet water canister - We understand that cleaning the outside of the van may be really hard - only if the van is dirty beyond reasonable use would we charge an additional amount ($200.00) for an external clean (a general external wash, we will take care of) - Pick up and return is conveniently available in the near Eastern or Northern Suburbs - or we can drop to you or pick up from you for an additional $100.00 per session + Uber/Taxi fee for 1 way of travel (based on around 50km radius) - The van will be full of diesel when you collect and we expect it returned that way - otherwise will charge $4.00 per litre if we need to go and refill - The van is registered for all Tollway Roads (LinkT) so you can travel on these toll road with no concerns - when you return we will charge you at cost for any toll charges

• Sleeps 6 inside the van (NB: the 3rd bed is very tight for adult couple for 2 kids more than OK)

  We had a brilliant trip in the Motorhome, super easy to drive. Sam was a brilliant communicator, pick up and drop off was super easy.

  Pros: The owners were helpful and responsive. The campervan was spacious. There was plenty of bedding and sheets, as well as enough plates and cutlery for the trip. The owner kindly provided a bottle of champagne to make up for some of the issues with the vehicle. Cons: At handover, I was told the gas was already connected, but it wasnt. I had to work out how to turn on both the gas and the safety valve during the trip. Even then, only one gas outlet worked, which made cooking very difficult. The grey water tank was blocked and did not drain properly, even with the valve fully open. This caused unpleasant smells inside the van, as grey water backed up through the bathroom drain. I spent hours trying to resolve this and contacting the owners, but they were unable to help. I temporarily cleared the blockage using a high-pressure hose, but the issue kept returning. As a result, we had to minimise water use, which made the trip uncomfortable. The air conditioning while driving is very weak, and the back of the van becomes extremely hot. The TV and DVD player did not work, and the owners were unable to operate them. The table came loose while driving at highway speed, which was concerning. Overall Unfortunately, due to these ongoing issues, I had to spend a large amount of time trying to fix problems myself or contacting the owners for support. This took away from the enjoyment of the trip.

  Sam was great and we had an amazing time. Everything was included from pillows to towels. Sam was very responsive and great to communicate with.

  Im late to this review, weve had a busy few weeks since our trip but I just wanted to leave a review because we had such an amazing trip with Sams camper. Sam was super helpful and informative about the camper. We had a tripped switch and we gave Sam a call and he was more than patient helping us with it. I would definitely book again with Sam, would highly recommend to anyone considering it!
