Hiring rules

  • NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads.
  • All breakages and/or damages must be paid for.
  • Must have full tank of diesel on return.
  • Free camping is at the risk of hirer. Any fines incurred are at the hirers expense.
  • Surf Boards MUST be stored in covers.
  • LOSS OF KEYS: If keys are lost a reprogramming and replacement fee of $450.00 will be charged.
  • EMERGENCY: If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 and they call the NRMA.
  • TOLLS: Any tolls will be paid by the hirer.
  • CLEANING: Excess cleaning charge is $200.00, this will be charged if the van isn’t left in a clean and tidy state and extra time or additional materials are needed to clean the van.
  • FESTIVALS: Festival hire must be pre approved and may be subject to additional fees.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Wandering Palms was the perfect van for our trip. It was spotless, beautifully styled and had absolutely everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept so well each night. You can tell a lot of care has gone into the setup. Cara was fantastic to deal with friendly, quick to respond and gave us some great local recommendations. Pick up and drop off were seamless with a thorough run-through of everything. We had such a great experience and would highly recommend!

    Wandering Palms was a lovely van for our trip around Byron Bay. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The bed and the bedding was very comfortable and top quality, we had great sleeps. Cara was super helpful and responsive - she gave us great tips on where to go. Pick up was smooth and easy and we got a great run-through of the van. Overall a great experience.

    Everything was great exactly as describe with some really nice additional touches that made our camping trip extra smooth. Highly recommend!
