Go with the Flo. Explore Northern New South Wales and South-east Queensland with your ready to go motor vehicle camping holiday. Flo has a Byron shire parking permit so no paying for council parking in the Byron shire. Designed and made by the owner. Every thought of practicality and aesthetics has been put in to make Flo your perfect holiday home on wheels. Flo’s double bed simply slides away to become a day bed with kitchen benches inside the van giving you space in the day to sit and eat. The large side awning, outdoor kitchen, tressle tables and chairs give you the perfect outdoor eating environment. A fully equipped kitchen with a 40l fridge and 20l water container with water pump is provided. The 40a dcdc charger and 110w solar panel allows the 138ah battery to recharge power for all electronics. Flo is fully insulated, has 12 volt fans, roof hatch as well as side and rear magnetic fly nets to keep you cool and airy. Blockout curtains throughout the van are also installed. CarPlay and reversing camera installed to access hands free apps from your phone via Bluetooth. Foam 8ft surfboard available for hire.

Hiring rules

  • No offroad or beaching driving.
  • No animals or smoking in van
  • Mileage limit of 150km/day after that a fee of 75c/km fee is applicable
  • You must return the van with a full tank of petrol. A refill fee of $150.00 will be applied if the tank is returned empty
  • Any tolls/fines will be paid for by the hirer
  • Please return the van in the same condition as you received it. A cleaning fee of $60.00 will be applied if the van is returned dirty.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Flo was great! We travelled for 6.5 weeks and it drives very easy. It is very practical and complete. We liked the great fridge, the shower, the solar panel and inverter (no charging stress!), the AC and the awning. Two chairs and a table and the freedom experience is complete! Lizzie is very easy to communicate with! I would recommend Flo and Lizzie to anybody!

    Great holiday in Flo! Easy to drive, air con is perfect and we travelled all the way to Noosa and back to Byron. 150km per day is perfect for a trip up the coast! Thank you Lizzie!
