Well maintained, family friendly 2010 Jayco Expanda Outback, ideal for families, couples or first time caravan hirers. Sleeps up to five people with a queen bed at each end and a dining table that converts to a child’s sleeping space. There is also room to store a portacot in the dining area if required. The caravan features air conditioning and heating, a private shower and toilet, solar panels and an inverter for off grid camping. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a fridge and freezer, gas cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich press, mini air fryer, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, plus a Nespresso coffee machine. Outside setup includes a full awning with LED lighting, outdoor table and chairs and a barbecue. Additional camping chairs, a portable electric brake controller, toilet chemicals, basic cleaning supplies, sunscreen and fly and mosquito spray are all provided free of charge on request. Clear instructions, a detailed welcome booklet and step by step setup videos are provided to make towing and setup simple and stress free, especially for first time hirers. An additional Kings fridge can be hired for thirty dollars per booking if extra fridge or freezer space is needed, and can be used outside the caravan or in your vehicle.

Special towing information

The caravan is fitted with electric brakes and requires a working electric brake controller when towing. If your vehicle is not already fitted with one, a portable electric brake controller can be provided free of charge. Clear instructions are given at pick up, and we are happy to assist with setup to ensure you feel confident before departure. Dual safety chains and a 7 pin flat plug connection are fitted. An adapter for a 7 pin round plug can be provided if required, please confirm prior to pick up. Tyres, brakes and lights are checked before every hire to ensure the caravan is safe and ready for travel. A suitable tow vehicle such as a large SUV or four wheel drive is required, with a minimum braked towing capacity of 2,000 kg. This caravan is not suitable for sedans or small SUVs.

Additional information

The Family Nest is a 2010 Jayco Expanda Outback and sleeps up to five people. A suitable tow vehicle such as a large SUV or four wheel drive is required. Minimum hire is three nights and the minimum hirer age is twenty five years. Linen and towels can be added for an additional thirty five dollars per booking. Pets and off road travel are by approval only. Pick up is located in Butler, Western Australia. Clear towing and setup instructions are provided at pick up, along with a welcome booklet and step by step setup videos to assist first time hirers.

Hiring rules

Minimum hire period is three nights. Minimum hirer age is twenty five years.
A suitable tow vehicle such as a large SUV or four wheel drive with a minimum braked towing capacity of 2,000 kg is required. Sedans and small SUVs are not suitable.
The caravan must be returned in a clean and tidy condition, ready for the next hire. Normal family use is expected and understood.
Pets and off road travel are by approval only and must be discussed prior to booking.
Smoking is not permitted inside the caravan at any time.
The caravan is not to be taken to music festivals or large events.
All towing, setup and safety instructions provided at pick up must be followed. Any issues or damage during the hire must be reported as soon as possible so we can assist.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Hire Fee: From $115.00 per day
Service fee: $110.00
Delivery fee: Delivery fee set by the owner following confirmation of delivery address

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
