The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up meals on the road, so you can enjoy the freedom of travelling without missing the comforts of home. Hiring rules

  • CARAVAN HIRE – HOUSE RULES & CONDITIONS
  • By hiring this caravan, you agree to the following rules and responsibilities:
  • 🚗 Towing & Vehicle Requirements
  • The hirer must ensure their vehicle is legally capable of towing the caravan (suitable towing capacity, towbar, and electrics).
  • The caravan must not be overloaded beyond its legal weight limits.
  • Only the approved driver(s) listed in the agreement may tow the caravan.
  • 🪪 Licensing & Legal Compliance
  • The driver must hold a valid driver’s licence.
  • All road rules must be followed at all times.
  • The caravan must not be taken offroad unless agreed in writing.
  • 🏕️ Usage Restrictions
  • No smoking inside the caravan.
  • No pets unless preapproved.
  • No festivals, parties, or events without permission.
  • The caravan must not be used for illegal activities.
  • 🔧 Care & Responsibility
  • The hirer agrees to:
  • Keep the caravan clean and in good condition
  • Use all appliances and equipment correctly
  • Secure the caravan when unattended
  • Any damage, loss, or theft must be reported immediately.
  • 💧 Water, Toilet & Waste
  • Toilet cassette must be emptied and cleaned before return.
  • Grey water must be disposed of at appropriate dump points only.
  • Water tanks must not be contaminated.
  • 🔋 Electrical & Gas
  • Only use power connections as instructed.
  • Do not tamper with gas or electrical systems.
  • Report any faults immediately.
  • ⛽ Fuel & Battery
  • The hirer is responsible for maintaining battery charge where applicable.
  • Any supplied fuel (e.g. gas bottles) must be returned in agreed condition.
  • 🧼 Cleaning & Return Condition
  • Caravan must be returned:
  • Clean and tidy
  • All items in original place
  • Free of rubbish
  • Additional cleaning fees may apply if not returned in acceptable condition.
  • 🕒 Pickup & Return Times
  • Pickup and return times must be strictly adhered to unless otherwise agreed.
  • Late returns may incur additional charges.
  • 💥 Damage & Bond
  • A bond is required and will be used to cover:
  • Damage
  • Cleaning
  • Missing items
  • The hirer is responsible for any costs exceeding the bond.
  • 🚫 Prohibited Use
  • No subhiring or lending the caravan to others.
  • No modification or alteration to the caravan.
  • 📞 Emergencies
  • In case of breakdown or accident, contact the owner immediately before taking action (where safe to do so).
  • By proceeding with the hire, the hirer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
  • Hirer must be 30 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
