🔗 DO35 Hitch – This van comes with a DO35 hitch, so please remove your tow bar tongue before pickup. I’ll supply the matching DO35 hitch and tongue, ready to go. 🔌 12-Pin Plug & Brake Controller – The caravan is fitted with a 12-pin plug and electric brake controller. If you have a 7 pin trailer plug, the sway control system can not be actionned and you will be charged for the use of the optional elec brake controller and 12-7 pin converter. 🔋 Anderson Plug – There’s also an Anderson plug for 12V input to the DC-DC charger, keeping the battery topped up while you’re on the move.

Hiring rules

🚭 No Smoking – Please don’t smoke inside or near the caravan, and keep it clear of any fires or smoke sources. If the canvas comes back with a smoke smell, we’ll need to have it professionally detailed and pass on the cost.
🎒 Luggage – Soft bags only inside the van, please! No hardshell cases, bikes, or boards — they can easily damage the interior.
🧽 Keep It Clean – We ask that the caravan is returned clean and in the same great condition you picked it up. Extra cleaning (inside or out) will incur a $99.00 per hour cleaning fee.
🚻 Toilet – Please make sure the toilet is emptied and cleaned before returning the van.
🛣️ Road Use – Stick to sealed roads unless we’ve agreed otherwise beforehand.
🎉 No Parties – Sorry, no parties or large gatherings in or around the caravan.

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

The Jayco Crosstrak was awesome for the weekend away we recently had. It was incredibly easy to tow, simple to set up, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and stress-free trip. The handover with Peter was smooth and really clear, and the return process was just as easy. The pick-up and drop-off location was convenient, which made getting on the road (and getting home!) nice and straightforward. It is well laid out, super practical, and perfect for a quick weekend escape. Highly recommendwell definitely be booking again!

We had an awesome weekend with the Trail Haven Jayco Crosstrak! As a family of four (two adults and two kids), we found it really spacious and super comfy. Plus, its a breeze to tow and park! Peter was so kind and helpful; his thorough explanation and detailed handover of the caravan made our experience fantastic. The pick-up and drop-off process was also super easy and convenient. I highly recommend them! This van is perfect for a weekend getaway, and well definitely be back. Were extremely happy!
