Making sure the flush tank and waste tank for the toilet are not full to the brim. We have liters amount in the instruction booklet. We provide all necessary Thetford chemicals for the Thetford toilet system. Toilet: flush tank capacity 15l. Waste holding tank capacity 19.3l (red light beside toilet will come on if full) HWS truma: gas and 240V. !!! Before use: outside cover has to be detached!!!! If not in use, inside switch on 240V (center position) and gas turned off!! If not in use turn water pumps off!! Hiring rules

• Here comes the legal part:
• Strictly no off road, only bitumen!
• No dirt roads/tracks, no gravel roads, no corrugated roads/tracks, no beaches.
• No matter the distance/kms plan your trip accurately! (yes, Gecko is an offroad camper trailer but we do not allow this!).
• If you leave bitumen, I'll charge you $110.00 per km.
• You have to have towing experience with a camper, caravan or e.g. forward fold (a box trailer or tipper for example, is not enough).
• You have to have a full Australian license (C) or LR, MR, HR, HC or MC.
• You have to use the electric brakes controller, supplied by us, free of charge. Failing to do so will severely damage Gecko and you will be liable for repair costs.
• Daily kms:
• 200km per day.
• Which you can calculate for your whole trip.
• Any additional kms will get charged with $2.00 per km.
• Breaches will be costly for you and you have to return the camper trailer immediately!!
• Do NOT drive without the poptop down and secured with the provided Rclips (or Lynch pins)!! Even if it is only 1m!
• Do NOT drive with the expander/bed folded out and secured!!
• This is a major breach which will cause structural damage to the camper trailer and the repair will be very costly!
• The breach on those two particular ones will be $100.000 each (plus the repair).
• Gecko has been Etoll registered, hirer must reimburse.
• ! Do not travel with more than 5l in the flush tank and not more than 3l in the waste holding tank!!!! (It'll come back at you/ interior and the cleaning plus repair costs will exceed $200.000).
• If the toilet cassette hasn't been cleaned by you, I'll will charge you $400.00.
• If the toilet compartment hasn't been cleaned by you I'll charge you $200.00.
• If the camper trailer hasn't been returned as clean as it was at handover (this includes the interior/living and shower, toilet area, every compartment, every cupboard, the fridge itself, the pop top, the windows, the flyscreens, the outside, the step, the stepladder, the cords, the amphibian, all the accessories we provide from kitchen utensils to power cords), I'll charge you $500.00.
• Do not drag any of the mattresses outside the camper trailer!
• I'll charge you for a clean of each mattress $280.00.
• No bikes, boards, bbq or any other item you bring can be stored nor transported inside the camper trailer. I'll charge you for repairs and $450.00.
• Damages will and have to go into the posthire checklist as well as cleaning, missing items, any breaches (offroad or changes to your trip without informing us).
• Do not repair or try to fix anything on your own, without our consent.
• Strictly no smoking, vaping or any other fire/smoke/burned off chemicals inside the camper trailer nor in the vicinity of 10m.
• Do not park within 15m of a campfire.
• Do not park under trees.
• Strictly no pets.
• It is strictly prohibited to change the towing vehicle!!
• Make yourself aware that you are responsible for all the connections necessary to tow a 2T camper trailer!
• In case of an emergency, you need to contact Camplify for a request and clarification!!

• You are agreeing to be the only person (plus one additional person, if we agree during the request process, to it and that additional the licence has been provided during the prehire checklist) to tow, sleep, shower, toilet use, pack up and set up the camper trailer (pop top, awning, raslarr bar/all bedparts, electric brakes, jockey wheel, handbrake, Aframe: electric brakes, breakawaycontroller, chains, Dshackles ect).
• Once booking commenced you have to contact us asap:
• your plans (travel and stay etc) changes
• you have any problems or issues
• If you breach any of our rules you will be additionally charged $250.00 per booking day, plus repairs plus loss of income (if the camper trailer can't be hired out after handover).
• Reach out via Camplify messenger, as soon as you have any questions or concerns.
• If you are unable to do so, SMS are an option.
• We do reserve the right to cancel the booking if you and the additional person (driver or not) is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs during handover (you will be charged whatever fee Camplify's Terms and Conditions are at the time, and their fees).
• If the booking cannot go ahead because the towing vehicle which was agreed on during the request process, is not suitable, potential charges reside to you.
• We also reserve the right to get your signature on a declaration RE rules and instructions we provided and explained to you during the handover process (this will reduce the risk of any misunderstandings and clarifications later on).
• By hiring Gecko, you have read understand and agree there is a GPS tracker on board to monitor the vans kilometers for travelling and service purposes. Locations may also be checked during hire to ensure no improper use. Tampering with or using devices to block the tracker or removing it will be considered as a breach of contract
• If you intend on going to a Festival, please inform us first of the festival you wish to attend failure to do so will be a breach and we reserve the rite for Gecko to be returned Immediately and no refund we are not against festivals but there are some where the risk of damage to Gecko is to high
• The 270 awning is rated to 40kph winds awning is not permitted to be used in winds over 40kph awning should also be supported by poles that are provided + tied down at tie down points with the guy ropes and tent pegs provided The awning should not be packed up wet unless a storm is imminent please allow time in mornings for it to dry before packing up The camper is never to be driven with the awning open even if its a few meters damages will result in an camplify excess claim!
• If you breach any of the rules or terms, I have the right to cancel the booking and as a result you have to return the camper trailer immediately.

• Hirer must be 30 years of age or older.

  My wife and I enjoyed our getaway in Gecko, it was ideal. Matt took the time to show us everything and was very responsive when questions came up. We had some minor issues eg no gas hot water but fortunately we had mains power most of the time so wasn't an issue for us and Matt was helpful in diagnosing.
