FAQ's You’ll hopefully find the answers to most of your questions below. SELF TOW - Please allow an hour for the initial handover - Pick up is by appointment - Must have proven record of towing large trailers or caravans - Must have RedArc (or similar) electric brake abilities, to connect to the caravan We do recommend you arrive at your destination BEFORE it gets dark to setup. Lucille is not fitted with reversing camera's. DELIVERY and SET UP - Highly recommended - $150.00/booking up to 50km and $300.00/booking from 51km to 100km. Delivery beyond 100km is negotiated at time of enquiry. - Please provide all booking details of your site to allow us to liaise with the caravan park directly for set up and pack down CLEANING - $150.00/booking - Please wash all dishes, and pack all items away, plus make the beds, prior to departure. This will ensure the exit check-list process runs smoothly DAMAGE - If damage happens, we ask that report it's immediately - who, what, where and when will be required, take plenty of photos. Even if it is minor this helps us get everything fixed or replaced for the next hire. - Thank you for your honesty. To prevent damage please pack away the awning before bad weather arises and ensure all windows are closed. INSURANCE - Our caravan is comprehensively insured with Camplify's MyWay Protect To reduce the risk of theft or damage Lucille is fitted with a tow-ball lock, and deadlocks on the doors. GENERAL - Do not attempt to open the roof hatch, as this is 'ornamental' - One key is provided for the booking, we have a spare key which can be delivered in an emergency, at a cost of $100.00. - No smoking or naked flames in or around the caravan - BBQ gas bottle is to be remain closed, when not in use - No charging of e-bikes, e-scooters, e-skateboards or any other high risk devices. These devices can cause an electrical fire - Pets are allowed, provided you let us know about your pet prior to us approving the booking. Should you choose to share this experience with your fur baby, please know that this will void any wear and tear exclusions. If your pet is to sit on the lounge/dining area or beds we ask that you place a towel down for protection. Please BYO bedding, bowls and toys for your pet. No wet dogs inside pretty please.

Hiring rules

• Lucille is strictly NOT to be taken off road, she is to travel on sealed roads only.
• All cooking is to take place outside, with the exception of the toaster, kettle and coffee machine.
• Specific instructions regarding the awning will be discussed and demonstrated during handover, this relates to safety and potential damage during bad weather.
• Please do not attempt to open the roof hatch, as this is 'ornamental'
• One key is provided for the booking, we have a spare key which can be delivered in an emergency, at a cost of $100.00.

  Extremely spacious van. Portable air conditioner supplied but only needed if in the caravan during the day. Brooke was very good with communication. Would definitely book the van again as it had everything we needed. Also very good at getting van out of a difficult spot.

  The photos of Lucille do not do it justice. The renovation conducted is absolutely gorgeous and the van is equipped with everything you could possible want. It's basically bring your clothes & food, and everything else is provided......and I mean everything! The bedding is very cosey and comfortable and beautifully presented. From a communication & professionalism standpoint the experiences was stellar. Kym & her daughter Brooke were a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. We will be booking Lucille again!

  We had a fantastic and memorable stay in Lucille! The owners were incredibly friendly and thoughtful they truly went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, including bedding, towels, and kitchen supplies, so we hardly had to bring a thing. The whole experience was easy and relaxed. A beautiful caravan and such thoughtful hosts highly recommended!
