Hiring rules

• No smoking inside the van
• Island beach driving is strictly prohibited
• If the van is used at a festival, it must be cleaned inside and out as per the cleaning instructions in the welcome message. Failure to do so will result in a $110.00 cleaning fee per hour
• Tolls are charged at the end of the booking
• Issues regarding the fridge and battery are not refundable
• Pickup & Dropoff
• Pickup and dropoff times are flexible – please discuss your preferred times in advance
• Hires must be extended if continuing into the next calendar day. If not extended, the vehicle may be disabled and towed back at the hirer's expense
• The vehicle must be returned to the same location it was picked up from. Towing fees or a $110.00 per hour retrieval fee will apply
• Fuel & Cleanliness
• The van must be returned with a full tank of fuel
• Please return the van clean inside and out
• If not returned clean, a $110.00 per hour cleaning fee will apply
• If the "Clean Van" option was selected, the cleaning fee does not apply
• A $50.00 refuelling fee plus fuel cost will apply if the vehicle is not returned full
• Kilometre Allowance
• 200 km per day allowance applies, calculated over the total length of the trip
• Example: A 5day booking allows 1,000 km total
• Extra kilometres will be charged at $0.50 per km
• Driver Requirements
• The primary renter and all additional drivers must present a valid, unrestricted driver's license at pickup
• If using a nonEnglish license, you must also provide an accredited English translation or an International Driving Permit, and a valid passport
• Drivers who do not meet these requirements are not covered by insurance
• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older
• Vehicle Technology & Roadside Assistance
• If you are travelling out of mobile reception, do not turn off Bluetooth or location services on your phone. The van uses our app to start, and turning these off will result in loss of access to your digital key
• If access is lost, the van will need to be towed to an area with reception at your own cost to restore access
• In the event of a breakdown, flat tyre, or mechanical issue, call Campify Roadside Assistance
• Do not attempt to fix the vehicle yourself. You are not covered by insurance for selfrepairs

  Mixed Experience Not as Advertised and Poorly Equipped I rented this van for a road trip in Australia and while it got the job done, the experience didnt match what was advertised and there were quite a few disappointments. What Didnt Work: Misleading listing: The ad said linen was included, but I had to pay $30 extra for it. Same with the table and chair an additional $20 despite being listed as included. Photos were inaccurate: The chair, table, cookware and general setup were not the same as pictured. The van looked much rougher in person. Basic equipment missing or broken: Butane gas for the stove was half empty I had to buy more. No dish soap, rag, or bucket to clean dishes had to purchase all of that. No spatula or wooden spoon, and I had to screw the handle back on the pan myself. One bowl was chipped and eventually broke. Stove struggles with wind: Its small and underpowered nearly impossible to cook anything if its windy outside. Communication issues: On the day of the return, I sent 5 texts and got no response. Dirty : The cookware and linen werent clean. I had to rewash everything. The van itself wasnt very clean, and overall, it felt like little care was taken between rentals. Interior design issues: The passenger seat legroom is very tight uncomfortable if youre tall but thats not on the owner at all, its just a design thing but absolutely not the end of the world The blackout curtains were appreciated, but some clips were missing, so they didnt stay closed properly. Radio & GPS setup unsafe: GPS doesnt work Bluetooth has a delay for calls No phone holder or USB charger in front, which makes navigating difficult and unsafe if youre alone. What Worked Well: The bed was reallly comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space. The portable shower was a very handy feature in remote areas much appreciated. The esky (cooler) was great for storing dry goods and pantry items. I liked the blackout curtains and tinted windows for privacy. Overall, if youre renting this van for just a couple of days, youll manage but for longer trips or actual van life, it might not be the best !

  Adrian and Allies camper van, Chloe, was comfortable to drive and comfortable to sleep in. We were away for eight nights and the van had all the basics for our trip. The block out curtains were very effective and the fly wires on the sides allowed for a little bit of airflow. If you are the type that likes to sleep with the hatch door open, we suggest picking up some cheap fruit tree nets or lightweight fly screen mesh and magnets (i.e from Bunnings ) to create your own bug protection and allow for additional airflow in the van. We did this for both the sliding side door and back hatch door. If youd like to charge your phones whilst driving (without using the inverter) be sure to bring a USB/USB C cigarette lighter adapter or check with Adrian and Allie prior to your arrival as they will be able to provide this adapter. All in all, for a van that has done over 200,000 km, Chloe was great value and a fun travel companion.

  Great van and great communication from the owners! Added a tent for us as we had three people. Fridge plug was slightly finicky but overall everything worked great
