PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND ADVICE! If you still have questions, always ask! OFF ROAD The Black Pearl is ready for OFF-ROAD destinations and BEACH driving. However, I need to know where you are planning to go - Use in 4x4 parks is NOT ALLOWED, that also means, no challenging 4x4ing - DO NOT drive in salt water more than half-tire deep - Please familarise yourself with the off-road checklist https://d38b8me95wjkbc.cloudfront.net/assets/pdfs/Offroad-checklist-AU-d7b1dc9dd724512ee47f73aab85e632c68b7ab12bb6e22d351e82d8259787674.pdf PICK UP Pick up is in Buddina, Sunshine Coast and 15mins from Sunshine Coast Airport. Otherwise I can collect you for a fee to be agreed, generally $100.00 per 100km travelled. PLAN YOUR TRIP - Check travel route distance and time - If you are driving on the beach plan to enter the beach an hour after high tide as the tide goes out - If you have to use a ferry expect queues or book a time - Plan to arrive before it gets dark so you have time to setup - Cooloola Recreation Area vehicle beach permit is included in the hire (that'll save you $38.00-$60.00) SLEEPING & COMFORT Spacious Roof Top tent with Comfy 70mm mattress - Sleeps 2 adults and 1 child or 1 Adult and 2 children - Please watch this video to familiarise yourself with the tent https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7W3pfq3gL8 - Fitted sheet supplied with the hire - Sheet must be kept on the bed to keep the mattress & mattress protector clean. Other linen, pillows, bath and beach towels optional extra - I can supply a brand new sleeping bag to purchase for $50.00 (it will belong to you afterwards) just let me know if you want this option. DRIVE - MANUAL transmission (stick shift) - Apple/Android wireless CarPlay stereo, reverse camera and cruise control - Vehicle must be returned full of diesel (As Supplied) CLEANING - Exterior doesn't need cleaning, I will do that - Interior must be tidy and all hirer's items and waste removed - Camping equipment such as fridge, gas cooker, plates, cups, pots and pans need to be cleaned (if used) - Bedding doesn't need cleaning, I will do that - Toilet needs to be emptied and cleaned (if used), or you will incur a cleaning cost ($200.00) dump sites are available at most camp sites. TOW If you are towing let me know first - The Black Pearl has an electric braking system - Towing wing mirrors (optional) - 50mm Tow ball - 12 pin flat socket SAFETY If an accident occurs, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call Roadside assist and then call us! - UHF Radio - First Aid Kit - Snake bite kit - Sunscreen - Fire Extinguisher BOOKINGS & RATES Minimum 2 days hire IMPORTANT PERMIT INFO (COOLOOLA PERMIT IS INCLUDED FREE) – A PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR BEACH DRIVING IN QLD, GO TO BELOW LINK FOR PRICES AND PURCHASING - https://parks.qld.gov.au/management/managed-areas/recreation/vehicle-permits#vehicle_access_permit_fees DAMAGE Please review Camplify's hiring terms and conditions prior to booking If you abandon the vehicle for any reason during the hire contract, ALL associated retrieval and cleaning costs will be charged to you If damage happens, you must report it immediately - who, what, where and when will be required, TAKE PHOTOS. Even if it is minor this helps us get everything fixed or replaced for the next hire To prevent damage please pack away the awning before bad weather arises and ensure all windows and roof hatches are closed. WHAT DOES THE BOOKING FEE COVER? - The Camplify booking fee covers important things like insurance - Nationwide roadside assistance - 24 hour customer helpline - $300,000.00 emergency accommodation protection - Third party management of bond and transaction fees - The booking fee is not negotiable WHAT DOES THE SERVICE FEE COVER? - The service fee includes general maintenance and use of vehicle and replacement of consumables and handover brief - External clean of Vehicle DOES NOT cover Internal clean including equipment such as fridge, cooker, pots and pans or the return of a toilet that hasn't been emptied. - If you do not want to clean internally including equipment, you can opt to pay the $100.00 additional extra. - If you do not want to empty the toilet before return, you can opt to pay the $200.00 additional extra - If you breach the cleanliness rules, you will be charged these extra fees from your bond. Hiring rules • NO smoking in vehicle or tent. • Minimum hirer age is 25 years • Valid full license required to drive • Pets are allowed (for a fee) • Sleeps 3 inside the tent • Off road is allowed with owner agreement • Van has manual transmission • Van has 3 seat belts • Van is 5.33 m (17.5 feet) long and 2.4 m (7.9 feet) high • 2 day minimum hire
