Picture this: I’ve got a fridge for food & cool drinks, a twin gas cooktop (with gas included) for campfire feasts, and a well-stocked pantry with all the cooking essentials—utensils, plates, pots, and loads of storage. Need a quick rinse after a beach day? My cold shower setup has you covered, with plenty of bench space for bathroom items, too. Stay cool with my built-in ventilation and fan, and enjoy the outdoors with camping chairs & table. For the best views, climb up to my timber roof deck at sunset. Solar power keeps you off-grid, with charging ports for laptops and phones, so you’ll have everything you need for work or play. Hiring rules

Please note that this van is intended for a maximum of two people and is only available for drivers aged 21 and older with a current valid drivers license. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the van, and offroading is not permitted to ensure its longevity and safety. The van must also be returned with a full tank of fuel (diesel). We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping the van in great condition for future adventurers!

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $125.00 per day
Service fee: $35.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

This van was great for a long weekend away. My partner and I took it up towards the central coast and it was perfect. It came with everything you needed so you didnt need to worry about anything. Valentin made the hiring process smooth and was a great communicator. Highly recommend!

Flamingo is perfect for a getaway. The handover was incredible- really detailed and we felt super confident when we drove away. Looks tiny but the storage is actually great. We did find the van itself quite claustrophobic but thats more about us than the van and was fixed by sleeping with the back open- which also meant we got to see the wombat walking through camp! If there was a hose for the water tank we couldnt find it, otherwise everything was super easy to find and use. It was so great to be able to bring our doggie along although she was not thrilled with the rain :-) Overall we were super happy, highly recommend bendalong for a quick getaway. Amazing wildlife!!!

I loved my first time CampVan experience in Flamingo. The owner has paid attention to detail and thought of everything. Its been carefully built and well taken care of. The Mercedes Van drives smoothly, and is super comfortable, and easy to drive once you figure out the settings. I enjoyed the shower for ridding the salt when there were no campsite showers. It was also handy for washing up. I loved the fridge and really enjoyed cooking on the gas camp oven. The fan and air vent was really handy and the solar lights so effective and pretty. Thanks for sharing your van and I think Im hooked on the experience now.
