Chubby is a great van. Travelled around Tasmania in +- 3 weeks and had the best time. The engine is strong, and will get you up to any mountain you want. I feel sad about having to give him back! Ricardo is very nice as well. He made sure I already had all the information I needed before I came to Tasmania and while I was hiring the van he was always available for questions or travel tips. If you don't mind having basic comfort only (no power inside), then I would highly recommend to hire this van

Its really simple, but has everything you need. Im really happy with our decision to go with Ricardos van - was the best way to see Tasmania for sure. Ricardo cares about his vehicle, and give a really in depth handover to make sure you know everything about the van you need to know.

We loved our road trip with Chubby. And older model but in excellent condition and easy and comfy to drive. Has everything you need for a great road trip. Riccardo has been the best! He gave us tips on what to do and where to go, has prepared the van perfectly and has been really lovely to talk to. Will def meet up again the next time we are in Tasmania!

We had an amazing two weeks in Tasmania with Chubby (the van), despite the fact that it's an old car it didn't stop us from covering many kilometre s and doing the whole island! It's a great van to drive and great for camping, everything was practical and useful with everything you need to have a great road trip. Riccardo was also very helpful, responding as quickly as possible whenever we needed and his advices on how to discover Tasmania was perfect. Thanks to Riccardo and Chubby, this trip will remain in our memories for a long time!
