This isn't a good review, but I want to say Alex was good to deal with. I'm sorry Alex. Driving the van is hard work with no power steering. It needs full concentration, physical strength, and regular recovery breaks. When driving, the cabin fills with petrol fumes unless the top 2 windows are open. After we had set out, we discovered the front passenger side tyre was bald and unroadworthy. The drive home was very stressful and dangerous. We cancelled part of our trip because it was not safe. The TV didn't work, neither did the fan which made for some uncomfortably hot stuffy nights, especially when it rained. The van was cleaned but there were grubby areas they had overlooked, such as windows & drinking glasses that hadn't been washed. In general the van needs maintenance - curtains that work, the fridge works well but he handle is falling apart. We had a good holiday - we went to our campsite and didn't drive it until coming home.

Me and my son had a great time away. It was my son first time in a camper van and we made some fantastic memories. The camper had everything we could possible need. Communication was great responding to any questions I had and the description of the van was accurate. Definitely hire again. Thank you!

The van was definitely older & quirky as described in the description, but once I got past that, was quite fun. No power steering & had a column shift, which was interesting to get used to, but again was ok once I got used to it. I did have a few queries about things & how to use them & the communication between Alex & I was fast & helpful. All in all a good first experience for a short trip away.

My partner and I had a fantastic trip in Old farmer. Eas to drive, plenty of space and a really comfortable and warm bed. was perfect for a weekend getaway. Alex was a great host and provided helpful information regarding the use of the van.

It was already known that the van was vintage and didn't have power steering, no problems there, however I wouldn't suggest to take the van into any tight spots as doing multiple point turns could be challenging. This van is great for going somewhere and parking up for a few days, not amazing for a lot of driving and exploring. Column stick gears were fun. The bed was more comfortable than I was expecting. The power was reliable. Nice to have the extra head room and be able to stand up and walk inside the van.
