Greg was an exceptionally hospitable host, we are grateful for renting his van, rooftop tent, and additional tent. Everything worked smoothly and Greg was ultra responsive. We were also unlucky in copping a crack to the windscreen and Greg couldn't have been more understanding. Thank you again for dropping us off at the airport! We will definitely rent again next time we are in the NT!

The van drove really well for the week that we hired it. The average fuel consumption was about 10l/100km not too bad for a V6 with plenty of power. The roof top tent wasn't the best quality (Adventure kings) but it was easy to setup and take down. The only downside was that battery for the fridge didn't last very well.

I had a fantastic time in Greg's van! The van itself was more luxurious than I expected - all leather and premium finishes all around. Greg had kitted it out with everything I needed to go completely off-grid for a few days, apart from the food. The fridge runs from a battery and that never went flat; I switched it on around 3pm Friday and it was still running when I returned the van at lunchtime on Sunday, which was great! We cooked with Greg's gear, ate off his plates and most importantly... the battery-powered nespresso machine was a huge hit. I ended up doing coffee for neighbours too because it was such a treat to get a real coffee out in the bush! The rooftop tent with its inbuilt mattress was very comfortable. I'm from a cooler climate and it can be hot up in Darwin, so bring a battery-powered fan if you're not an early riser. I had one with me and it was essential for mid-morning naps. A great experience all around for me and Greg was very easy to deal with.
