Hiring rules

• 🚐 Hire Rules
• To keep the van in top condition for everyone, please follow these rules during your hire:
• No animals – Sorry, no pets allowed in the van.
• No smoking or vaping inside the van – A $300.00 extra cleaning/steam cleaning fee will be charged if the van smells of smoke.
• Check fuel type before every refuel – Using the wrong fuel can cause serious damage and will be charged in full to the hirer.
• No driving on unsealed roads – Stick to sealed bitumen roads only unless agreed in writing beforehand. (Except short access roads to Campsites that are well maintained)
• Daily distance limit – 200 km per day included in the hire. This is completely negotiable — message me if you need more.
• No towing, beach driving, water crossings, or river fording – These can cause serious damage not covered by standard insurance.
• No climbing on the roof – The roof and solar panels are not designed to support weight.
• Return the van with a full fuel tank – A refuelling charge will apply if returned low.
• Please note:
• Failure to follow these rules may result in additional charges, which may include:
• An extra cleaning fee of $250.00 if the van is returned excessively dirty.
• A fee of $50.00 will be charged if the van is returned moderate dirty.
• A $300.00 cleaning/steam cleaning fee for any stuborn odours or evidence of smoking inside the van.
• The cost of an undercarriage inspection if there’s reason to believe the van has been driven offroad.
• The full cost of any repairs to the camper conversion itself.
• The replacement cost of any equipment that is damaged or lost during the hire.
• Any costs associated with misfuelling, insurance excesses, or breaches of hire conditions.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  Booked Tilly for 4 days down to Byron Bay and couldnt be happier. Jake was super helpful with the pick up and handover The inside of the van looks absolutely stunning and everything is designed to be practical and comfortable. You can genuinely tell hes put a lot of thought and work into it. The little touches made it awesome the full spice set, the inside fans to keep you cool, and all the small details that make van life effortless. Highly recommend hiring from Jake!

  Tilly was a superb campervan which really made our trip extra special. The facilities, utensils and set up was perfect for a few days camping in the Gold Coast hinterlands. The van drove really well and was easy to move around from place to place and was able to get into normal car park spots. Jake was fantastic with the handover and helping us out with little questions here and there throughout the trip.

  We had such an amazing time with Tilly at the festival! The van was spotless, tidy, and really well equipped, everything we needed was there, and cooking was super easy. Tilly drives great and made our trip so comfortable and fun. Communication with Jake was fantastic from start to finish. The handover was smooth and easy, and he was really flexible and accommodating, which made everything stress-free. We couldnt have asked for a better experience, highly recommend both Jake and Tilly!

  Loved that we could just set and forget, was such a cute little van and perfect for a long weekend camping trip with my husband and I. Jake has done a fantastic job setting Tilly up with everything you need an more. Loved it !
