Additional information

Charlie was designed with our minimal & simple life in mind. He is powered fully by the sun, has a composting toilet & all windows are tinted but unobstructed from curtains or blinds to enable you to fully immerse yourself in nature. There has been a recent edition of custom made Solar Screen panels should you wish to control the temperature a little more in the bus or simple for some extra privacy.

Hiring rules

Our bus is NOT designed or equipped to go offroad or on unsealed roads.
The Bus will have a full tank of diesel for you to start your holiday and 10 liters of DIESEL in 1x 10litres containers on the roof for emergencies.
Please make sure THE TANK IS FULL OF DIESEL and the spare container IF used when you drop the camper back otherwise an extra charge will incur.
The camper must be CLEAN when returned. All cleaning products provided.
A FEE WILL BE TAKEN AT THE POSTHIRE CHECK IF YOU DO NOT TICK A BOX FOR US TO DO THIS FOR YOU :}
This includes floors swept free of GRASS AND SAND.
Dishes, cups, cutlery, pans clean.
Bathroom and Kitchen wiped down.
Fridge must be emptied and wiped down.
Toilet bottle must be completely EMPTY! This container can be emptied into any public toilet.
Composting toilet can be left for disposal by us.
Grey water empty.
All rubbish removed
Average of 200kms per day included in normal booking price after that 60c per kilometer from the bond.Please advise of plans prior to booking trip

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $195.00 per day
Service fee: $99.00

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Charlie is a great bus, full of character, very comfortable and easy to drive. We drove 2700+Kms in 10 days all the way to Esperance and back. Daniel has thought of everything you need for your travels, only thing missing is a reversing camera. Highly recommended bus and not like anyone else on the road.

We loved our time away in Charlie. Dan was great to deal with, availing himself at all times should we need to ask him anything. The videos on the different aspects of the van, such as how to erect the awning and roof dwelling were super helpful. Having a full sized fridge, ample water storage, a sizable kitchen area, panoramic windows and a super comfy bed were standouts. We highly recommend hiring Charlie.
