Hiring rules

• HIRING RULES – Please Read Carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, the following rules apply to all hires:
• 🔒 Booking & Payment: A deposit must be paid within 48 hours of booking approval to secure your dates.
• 🚭 No Smoking: Strictly no smoking or vaping inside the caravan
• 🧼 Clean Return Policy: The van must be returned in the same clean condition as received. Cleaning items are provided. Cleaning fee applies if returned excessively dirty.
• 🚽 Toilet Cassette: Must be emptied and cleaned prior to return. Fees apply if returned full.
• 🌬️ Awning Use: Awning must be retracted if left unattended or during windy/wet weather to prevent damage. Always have one side slightly lower than the other to allow for rain to run off and not pool.
• 🔐 Security: The caravan must be locked whenever unattended to ensure safety and prevent theft.
• 📸 Damage or Accidents: Any damage, breakages or accidents must be reported immediately via text message with a photo.
• 🏕️ Free Camping / OffGrid Use: All offgrid camping must be disclosed prior to the start of hire. Any damage caused to batteries or systems due to unauthorised free camping will be treated as damage and charged accordingly.
• ℹ️ GENERAL RULES ℹ️
• 🔹 Towing Responsibility – Ensure your vehicle meets the required towing capacity
• 🔹 No Smoking or Vaping – A $500.00 cleaning fee applies if this is not followed
• 🔹 Pets Allowed (Conditions Apply) – All pet hair must be cleaned. Pet fee required. Noncompliance incurs a $300.00 cleaning fee
• 🔹 No Loose Items on the Floor INCLUDING BIKES/ SCOOTERS – Store everything in cupboards or appropriate places to prevent damage while driving
• 🔹 Weight Distribution – Extra items must be packed evenly; ask if unsure
• 🔹 No OffRoad or Beach Driving – Up to 10km of dirt road to campsites is allowed, drive to road conditions
• 🔹 Abandoning the Caravan – Any retrieval, cleaning or associated costs will be charged to you
• 🔹 Use Sheets on Beds – Even when using a sleeping bag. Dirty or stained mattresses incur a cleaning fee
• 🔹 Report Any Damage – Even minor issues should be reported so we can fix them for the next hire
• 🔹 Cleaning Responsibility – The caravan must be returned free of mud, sand, pet hair & red dust unless the extra cleaning fee is paid. Please return the van in similar condition as handover. Up to $200.00 cleaning fee applies if not followed.
• 🔹 Toilet Cleaning – Failure to empty & clean will result in a $119.00 fee.

• 🧹 CLEANING RESPONSIBILITIES
• 🔹 Leave the van tidy – Wash dishes, wipe food spills, dispose of rubbish & sweep floors.
• 🔹 Cleaning supplies included: Dishwashing liquid, surface wipes, broom & dustpan, dish cloth
• 🔹 Additional Cleaning Charges Apply:
• • Excess Cleaning Fee: Up to $200.00
• • Excess pet hair/mess: Up to $200.00
• • Excess dirt/red dust/mud: Up to $500.00
• • Stained Hire Linen: Professional laundering fee or Replacement cost
• Please do not cook foods with strong odours (such as curries, seafood, or anything that causes lasting smells) in the van, including using the fridge or freezer for such items. Cooking must be done with the fan on. Cigarette smoke and persistent food odours may incur a cleaning fee.

  Had a marvellous holiday in Port Stephens using the van as the base for exploring the area. The van was a home away from home with all the facilities to make the stay comfortable

  The van was fantastic. Towed without any issues behind my 2018 Prado. The setup was easy and everything we needed was included. The van was clean and very comfortable. We had an amazing weekend. This was my first time in a caravan and I was a little unsure at the start. Tash took the time to answer my questions before hiring and I felt more confident after talking to her. Handover was great, showing me how everything works etc. We had a couple of little issues that were sorted out quickly. One of the issues turned out to be my trailer adapter but they helped me fix that too. Its hard to find service like that these days. Im happy to recommend Tash and will definitely be back to hire again. Might try one of their other vans next time. Ill be telling everyone I know how good these guys are.

  Great service; easy pickup and drop off even on a very busy bank holiday. Van good condition. Small issue with brake lights identified on pick up, team swapped lights then and there show casing great work shop and support team. Will definitely use again. Thanks for a great trip.
