VANilla Dream has a fixed 400-watt solar panels system. The campervan is ideal for both powered campsite use (having a 240V hook up), or free camping (thanks to solar panels that give you power to run the fridge, lights, water pump and charging small devices with 12volt accessory sockets). It also has an inverter to charge 240V small appliances up to 500 Watt. We are based in Maroubra, which is easily reachable via public transport (only 5 minutes walk/200meters) from a bus stop and there is also free unlimited street parking around the area. Maroubra is also a popular surfing beach and a perfect starting point to explore the famous Eastern Suburbs Beaches before heading off on your adventure. *** Bed linen and towels included ***We offer some flexibility with check-in/checkout times at no extra costs (from 9am to 6pm) depending on our availability and next hire (to be prearranged). *** Full comprehensive insurance and 24-hour roadside assistance are included *** Discounts for long term hire BOOKING INFORMATION: When you make a booking request, please be sure to include the following information to help speed up the approval process: 1. Hiring rules

• Comfortable driving a manual car/van
• No smoking inside the van
• No pets inside the van
• 200 kms per day limit $0.50 for each kilometer after the 200 km limit
• No Off Road
• Hiree to pay any toll charges and fines (This will be deducted from your bond)
• Please return campervan with full tank as provided
• No E10 fuel to preserve engine life
• Please return the van in a clean and tidy condition as received, including removing all rubbish, otherwise a cleaning charge may apply
• Please avoid causing any damage. Any damage costs will be deducted from your bond
• Hiree to pay any insurance excess charges, if occurring
• Thank you for your cooperation and complying to these rules :)

  Wonderful van. Perfect for our trip from Sydney up the East Coast. Clean and tidy, has everything you need, great communication from the owner and explaining all the van amenities. Nice drive and good on fuel. Van was warm at night time when sleeping too which was great. Highly recommend.

  The hosts were lovely people and extremely Nice and very helpful. But the van itself needs alot. Bring your own linens. The linens provided were included but were very old (comforter from college dorm) worn out torn and not so clean. Very basic and meager supplies (e.g. only 3 tiny packets of coffee). The Mattress is original flattened stained dirty and worn out very uncomfortable. Perhaps a new mattress pad would have been nice. The van itself is powerful and made it up hills w no problems and performed well but the Clutch is worn out and needs replacing or major adjustment. The van gulped A Lot of petrol!

  We had a great time. It suited our needs with everything we required. No frills which was great as we travelled with a child so space didnt need clutter! Mechanically perfect too.
