The van is a comfortable home away from home. With TV, air conditioning fridge freezer microwave its glamping not camping. 2 tanks for fresh water and the indoor shower & toilet for those annoying midnight wake up calls after a drink around the camp fire. Very easy to tow and with duel wheels handles like a van half the size. Plenty of storage and very easy to set up. HAs pull out awning as well as a floor mat. Sides and end for awning on board for rain events. External gas fitting for a Webber BBQ (Optional hire $20.00 for the hire period) Also has a external tap and external shower. Internal table removed for more space but can be refitted in about 2 minutes. (kept on board)

Additional information

All LED lights, 12 volt TV/ DVD player inside but can be used outside as well. Inbuilt TV aerial. Blue tooth radio for those tunes around the camp fire. 3 way fridge to keep the wife's wine cool. Step has extension to make it easier for us old people to get in & out. Plenty of room for storage. Come with crockery, cutlery cooking stuff etc if required. Power leads and power boards provided and included in hire. Also has USB ports for charging.

Hiring rules

No smoking inside
Can only be towed off road on registered roads and fire trails. No 4wd tracks
Van can also be picked up from Buxton (near Picton) if suitable. From mid October the van will be located at Buxton full time for pick up / delivery

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $90.00 per day
Service fee: $80.00
Delivery fee: $0.95 per km

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Unfortunately there was some maintenance issues with the van which left a little bit of a sour taste on the experience for me. First time hiring a van and now not sure Id do it again. The awning was significantly damaged, which was not disclosed until I was there to pick it up (too late for me to change my mind). There were a number of other issues with the van, which Glenn was very apologetic about and hopefully hes able to get sorted with some maintenance or at the scheduled service he said hes trying to arrange.

Glenn was very helpful and obliging. Van was easy to tow. Needs a bit of TLC and minor repairs, but priced appropriately if youre happy with the basics for a short trip.
