Special towing information
Required towing capacity minimum 1600 kgs Trailer plug required is either 7 pin round or 7 pin flat. The van has both. The van is also fitted with an anderson plug. All doors, windows and the pop top roof must be securely locked before towing. Driver must have had previous towing experience with a caravan or similar. Please note this is not an offroad van. She loves the bitumen. With the exception of small amounts of dirt road necessary to get to your camping spot, she is not to be taken on dirt at speed. Towing mirrors are available upon request. Loss or breakage must be paid for.

Additional information
Our Jay Bird is just like home as it is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy you next holiday. A large range of extra gear can be provided upon request. BBQ, Portaloo, popup cubicle, Outside table. 1 outside table is provided Linen is not included but can be provide at a flat rate of $20.00/hire You must bring your own pillows due to Health regulations we are not able to provide. However i am happy to purchase pillows for you as your expense. I do my best to present a clean comfortable modern van. Please treat it as your own. Clean up spills. I have provided some cleaning equipment. Outside cleaning is not necessary unless it is excessively dirty. Please return my van in the condition it was hired so others can enjoy her. Please report any breakages when they happen so I can make arrangements to have them fixed upon return. Delivery not available. PICKUP only
Hiring rules
- Must not be taken off road or through water. A cleaning fee will be deducted from your deposit if not returned clean. Definately no smoking or pets allowed inside of the van.
- Minimum hire Christmas/ New Year peak period is 4 days.
- A pre hire walk around familiarization must be completed prior to pickup. This is arranged to suit both the hirer and ourselves. Can be done days out if it suits.
- Pickup and drop off times can be negotiated
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
