Toyota Hiace Camper Van – Comfortable, Off-Grid, Ready for Winter (Reviews in photos are for the same van, we had to change the listing 🫠) I’m renting out my Toyota Hiace camper when I’m not using it myself. It’s a simple, well set up van that’s great for road trips, surf trips, and off-grid travel. It’s fully insulated, so it stays cooler in summer and warmer in winter, and it comes with an electric blanket for cold nights. Pickup is available from Bondi Beach or Waterloo. I can also be flexible with drop-off times depending on the booking. The van has a comfortable double bed that converts into a couch, with reading lights, power points, and tinted windows for privacy. There’s plenty of natural light during the day, and enough storage to keep things easy and organised on the road. The kitchen setup includes a real fridge and freezer, gas cooktop, kettle, plunger, Nespresso machine, and all the basic cooking and eating gear you need. There’s also an outdoor shower setup with a pull-out hose, which is handy after the beach or a surf. For off-grid trips, the van has solar panels, a second battery, charging points, inverter, LED lighting, and a sound system with Bluetooth, AUX and USB. It’s a reliable Toyota Hiace, fully serviced, easy to drive, and fitted with reversing camera, power steering and power windows. It has 3 seats, uses around 9 to 10L/100km, and has roof racks plus space for surfboards. I built it to be practical, comfortable and easy to live in for a few days or a longer trip. * Pick up-drop of can be either in bondi beach, flexible pick and late drop of (evening) Pick ups are from 10 am Van is fully insulated has all the extras you need for a perfect relax road trip, with all the modern comfort so you can live off grid :) Driving on gravel/dirt roads or any off road with our camper is strictly forbidden, our van is designed to only drive on paved road Van has to be returned cleaned: inside, outside, fridge-dishes etc Van has to be returned with a full fuel tank if not you will get charged for full tank + 30$ for the time incurred If the van is given back uncleaned, stained, pet hair etc you will have to pay cost of the cleaning fee charged by a professional car detailing service LONG TRIPS: Minimum hire to Byron bay is 5 days Hirers a welcome to take the van up to 200 KMs a day average. This can be spread over a trip for example like 5 days 1000kms and if extra KMs a charge of 35 cents Excess KMs will be charged 35cents per KMs at the completion of the trip. We do this limit like most hirers as the more you drive the vehicle and more maintenance/ wear and tear will apply on our dear campervan.

Hire Fee: From $100.00 per day
Service fee: $30.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
