Hiring rules

  • Strictly No Smoking inside the van.
  • 1. DELIVERY & RETURN CONDITIONS
  • The vehicle is delivered in clean and optimal condition. It must be returned in the exact same condition as received. The following requirements must be met:
  • Cleaning: Interior and exterior must be spotless (unless delivered dirty).
  • Bedding: All sheets, linens and kitchen towels must be freshly laundered.
  • Water: Potable water tanks must be refilled; Grey water tank must be empty.
  • Fuel: Fuel tank must be returned Full (or as it was delivered).
  • Organization: All camping and kitchen gear must be organized and stowed.
  • 2. PENALTIES & SERVICE FEES
  • Failure to comply with Section 2 will result in the following nonnegotiable charges:
  • Cleaning Fee (Interior/Exterior): $50.00 AUD
  • Unwashed Bedding/Towels: $20.00 AUD
  • Perishable Food left in van: $20.00 AUD
  • Water Tanks (Not refilled/Not emptied): $30.00 AUD
  • Refuelling Service: Fuel cost + $20.00 AUD service fee.
  • General Disarray/Untidiness: $20.00 AUD
  • 3. LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY & INSURANCE
  • Traffic Infringements: The Driver accepts full legal and financial responsibility for any fines, tolls, or penalties incurred during the period of use.
  • Insurance Excess: In the event of an accident or damage, the Driver agrees to pay the Insurance Excess (Deductible) immediately.
  • Negligence: Any damage not covered by insurance due to Driver negligence (e.g., offroad driving, interior damage) is the sole responsibility of the Driver.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
