Van Irie is a custom-built Toyota Hiace High top (which means it's possible to stand up inside) ideal for a single person, couple or three people with heaps of storage space. The van is fully fitted with a comfortable double bed which converts into a bench and table during the daytime. A second fold out bed can be set up in the rooftop area for a third person. The inclusions are a 12/240volt fridge, a 500Watt inverter for laptop charging, 2-burner built in gas stove, as well as a portable stove for outside cooking, sink with running water, a microwave oven, cutlery and plates, pots and pans, 1 outside table and 2 chairs. Other inclusions include a portable toilet and a shower hose that can be connected to the sink outlet for use outside of the van (see photo), a rear-view reverse camera, side awning, solar panel, so you will be connected for those more remote Camping grounds. The van is also wired for direct power should you prefer powered camping sites and full bedding can also be provided. Discounts for bookings over Six days

Book six days and get a seventh for Free Pick up point in Brunswick is about 30 minutes from Melbourne airport Pick and drop off can be arranged for an additional fee depending on distance

Hiring rules

  • 250km/day of included kilometres. Excess kilometres charged at 40c per kilometre.
  • Portable toilet must be returned clean and empty if used or $50.00 cleaning fee applies.
  • Van will go out with a full tank of petrol and must be returned full.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    The van is perfect, it has everything we needed for our trip and the bed is comfy. Great communication with Levi and he explained all the bits and bobs before we set off. Will hire again for sure :-)

    We had a great time cruising the coast with our little one in Levi's charming little van. He slept up top and we were comfy in the bottom bed. The van was well organized with everything we needed for cooking, fridge for food and sink for cleaning and plenty of power for charging any devices. Irie mon!

    The van is great for its age, well looked after and clean and tidy. Lots of storage and the bed is really comfy. Solar power was great for us as we had no ability to plug into mains. Van comes equipped with everything you need for basic washing and cooking. Levi has designed lots of clever additions such as an extra table and even a little shower. Levi was so helpful and gave me a very thorough induction to the van and was very quick to respond with any questions. Highly recommend this van.

    Levi was excellent to deal with, very easy going and flexible with our pick up and drop off times. Van was great. Basic set up, but perfect for our short getaway in a powered site. Wed definitely hire this van again and would recommend it to anyone in the future. Cheers Levi!
