Our Wondering Wombat is the family holiday hero you didn’t know you needed. It sleeps five without anyone having to fold themselves like a pretzel — a massive king bed big enough for two adults, two kids and a baby who refuses personal space, a double bed bunk and a king-single top bunk. The zipper bunk nets stop kids rolling out or becoming midnight escape artists and they double as extra storage because kids bring… everything. Cooking is a breeze whether you’re inside or out. There’s an internal fridge/freezer, microwave, sink and stove — and then the outdoor slide-out kitchen with its own stove, sink and an extra fridge for drinks, snacks or hiding the chocolate from the kids. You’ve also got your own shower and toilet, plus a full annex and electric awning so you can turn the outside into an extra room without wrestling poles or ropes. Has an aircon and a toasting diesel heater. Dogs are welcome (because fur babies deserve holidays too) but you must make us aware that they’ll be coming along. 2 x 120L fresh water tanks plus mains water connection (we can have the tanks filled or you can fill up. We find towing on empty is a better towing experience) 80L grey water tank with outlet hosing Inbuilt hot water system with 14L water heater which can be connected to gas or electricity. (Gas is included in the hire) Completely off grid - generator with full Jerry can available for hire (generator and Jerry can must be completely filled back up before return with unleaded 95. Please provide receipt as proof)

Special towing information

If choosing to tow yourself (only under certain circumstances will we allow this so please get in contact) you must be able to tow minimum 3100kg (this is a combined weight of tow and everything placed inside) and a tow ball of 210kg. Will also need minimum 7 pin and have towing caravan experience, electric brake system and towing mirrors. If not, select our drop off option and we will tow it to the destination and set the whole thing up for you! Absolutely NO off-road. Heavy vehicle license preferred.

Please leave our family caravan exactly how it was handed over to you. Our van is much loved! Cleaning instructions will be placed inside the van. CGEAR ground mat 6mx2.4m - $40.00 We can supply any alcohol/nibbles on request Starlink - $200.00. This is for a whole month. If you only need it for a weekend, it will still be $200.00 but there is an $80.00 option but only gives you 80gb ($200.00 is unlimited) A mattress protector is supplied for each bed and a fitted sheet for the main bed. (Does not include sheets, doonas or pillows) if these come back dirty that a cycle in the wash doesn’t get out, you will be charged a $69.00 fee. These are courtesy items. If the towels come back also in this state, it will incur a $69.00 fee. The van is a Hybrid so the main bed needs to be setup. Please allow time before needing to be at your destination for us to run through this with you and any other information that will help you. An hour would be suffice. Hiring rules

Toilet canister must be completely empty and rinsed out before the booking ends. $199.00 fee will incur if not emptied and rinsed. The cleaning / setting up from start to finish will be on the door inside the toilet canister area.
A cleaning fee of $99.00 will apply if the van is handed over in a poor condition and an additional $199.00 will be charged if the toilet is not emptied and rinsed. Unless you’ve included the cleaning package.
If you’ve selected us clean the van for you, this includes general inside and outside hygienic clean. Does not include washing up of dishes, garbage disposal or cleaning/emptying of the toilet canister (there is a seperate charge for this) if there are dirty dishes or rubbish left, you will be charged $99.00 for this.

The van has an outside clothesline so place any wet items to air on that to avoid mould
The van is not to be moved or towed if drop off is selected and you must advise of your itinerary if you are towing. If towing, 200km a day only it is to be towed for. If you’re exceeding this, get in touch.
No smoking/vaping inside the van.
Bikes, Eskys, Scooters, Surfboards or any loose and heavy items are not to be put inside the van at any time.
Furry friends are welcome any damage caused by the animal will need to be fixed by hirer. If the van has fur or urine smells left throughout, there will be a service fee of $149.00 for this. You also must declare ANY animals at the time of booking.
The awning has specific steps to open and close it as it’s an electric one (steps will be clearly written inside van) you MUST close the awning away at night and in windy weather. (Not if the annex is attached) the legs also need to be held down with the water weights provided and string attachments pegged into the ground. If these steps aren’t followed and the awning is damaged in any way the hirer will be held accountable.
The van is fitted with a GPS device.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
