Hiring rules

  • Fanny’s Hiring Rules
  • 1. Driver Requirements
  • Drivers must be 25 years or older with a full, valid driver’s licence.
  • Only approved drivers listed on the booking may tow Fanny.
  • No Pplaters or Lplaters.
  • 2. Towing & Setup
  • Tow vehicle must be suitable
  • Maximum towing speed: 100 km/h .
  • Fanny must only be set up on level, stable ground.
  • No offroad or 4WD tracks – sealed or wellmaintained gravel roads only.
  • 3. Usage & Care
  • No smoking inside or under the awning.
  • No pets inside (unless preapproved).
  • Please avoid shoes inside where possible.
  • Return Fanny clean and tidy – just as you found her.
  • All cookware and utensils must be washed, dried and put away.
  • 4. Damage & Breakages
  • Please report any damage or faults immediately – honesty helps everyone.
  • Hirers are responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during hire.
  • Any broken or missing items may incur a replacement fee.
  • 5. Cleaning & Waste
  • If Fanny is returned dirty, a cleaning fee may apply.
  • Please empty water tank before returning (if used).
  • No cooking greasy foods or deep frying inside.
  • 6. Camping Locations
  • No music festivals or bush doofs unless preapproved.
  • Caravan parks, national parks, or private property stays are ideal.
  • Fanny loves adventure, but she’s not built for rough tracks!
  • 7. Pickup & Return
  • Pickup and dropoff times are by prior arrangement.
  • Please allow 30–45 minutes for a handover and demonstration.
  • Late returns may incur a fee, as she might be heading out again the same day.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a great time with Fanny. The set up was easy thanks to demo from Danielle and the videos sent through. The van had everything we needed for our 4 night adventure. Communication with Daniele was excellent and we would recommend. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room inside which we didn't really spend much time in. The water pump was a bit tricky as it had quite a few air bubbles (could have been user error), luckily we were close to water so it didn't affect us too much. The extras included like herbs and spices, dish detergent, bin bags, tea and coffee were a nice touch. Thanks for a great time :)
