Meet Pearl – your cosy home on wheels and the perfect off-grid escape. She’s been lovingly renovated with comfort and freedom in mind, featuring a comfy double bed, full standing height (I’m 170cm and can stand easily), and everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Pearl is fully self-sufficient with 400W of solar, DC-DC charging and a 200Ah battery, 60L of running water, air conditioning in the front and a fan in the back, an 85L fridge with freezer, awning, and a cooktop for your morning brew or sunset dinners. Loads of storage, with space for surfboards under the bed. She’s reliable, a dream to drive (manual), and stocked with books and games for lazy afternoons. I’ve poured a lot of care into creating this space and can’t wait for others to unwind, explore, and enjoy life on the road in Pearl. Flexible with pickup times, so I can do a quick run through of the van with you. Reduced price to encourage first few hires and reviews :)

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    A home away from home! We loved the van. It was full of beautiful touches and very well thought out. I would definitely hire from Lucy again!

    We had such an amazing experience with Salty Pearl and Lucy! Communication from start to finish was clear, friendly, and super helpful, which made the whole process stress-free. The van itself was in perfect working order and had absolutely everything we needed for our trip you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the setup. There was plenty of space and clever storage, which made living in the van really comfortable and easy to stay organised. We couldnt have asked for a better setup and would 100% hire again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and hassle-free adventure!

    We had a great time on our road trip in Salty Pearl. The van was well thought out and included all the equipment that was needed. Van was spacious inside and the bed quite comfy. One tip for future travellers is not to forget an Etag if you are going through tolls (we made this mistake) Some small things to consider would be additional instructions for setting up the awning, and to be careful with the sliding door as it can be a bit sensitive at times. Overall a positive experience and would recommend Salty Pearl for your trip :)

    We had an amazing weekend away in Pearl! She was easy to drive and good on gas, she had everything we needed and more for our camping holiday, the van is very well stocked and beautifully decorated! The bed was cosy and comfy, we had more than enough power to run everything even on a cloudy day, and the kitchen was a great size to cook for 2 people. Thanks to Lucy for building such a lovely home on wheels!
