The Freebird is a 2023 Newlands 628 model that is modern, very clean and neat, a user friendly caravan packed full of great features including a new pull out "ziggy" gas BBQ, 5 piece outdoor furniture set and a huge ground sheet If you like to get away with family and friends in style and comfort to a location of your choice this van has it all, a motel on wheels. Allowing you to enjoy the serenity of outdoor living with the indoor comforts of home. We can deliver and setup at your location or tow the van away yourself to your favorite holiday site The Freebird is advertised with the option to Tow or Deliver however we do prefer to deliver and setup the van for you. If towing the van is your preference your vehicle must be rated to tow 3.5 tonne or over.

Additional information

Stress free delivery, set up, pack up and pick up for your convenience. Sleeps 4 +1 using optional extra bed by using the convertible lounge/kitchen table. Delivery and pickup on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only however outside of these times can be negotiated with the owner. The van length is 6.4 m (21 ft) but total length including draw bar 8.6 m (28 ft) - When booking a caravan park you will need to use 8.6m long x 2.45m wide. The toilet is for number ones only and must be emptied and cleaned before the van is returned otherwise a $200.00 cleaning fee will be applied.

Hiring rules

  • Strictly no pets inside the caravan, absolutely no exceptions otherwise a cleaning and pest control fee of $500.00 will be added.
  • If the caravan is delivered and setup the caravans position can not be moved or altered unless approved by the owner.
  • No off road use unless prior approval from owner.
  • Strictly No Smoking inside the caravn
  • The toilet cassette must be empitied and cleaned (disinfected) before handing the caravan back otherwise a $250.00 cleaning fee will be added.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
