Specifically purchased for family hire outs to include pets (can supply small pet fencing), our ‘Castle’ is setup with everything you need to enjoy the outdoors with your entire family (dogs more than welcome). Constructed from high density insulated foam and with double glazed windows, the van is lighter than most similar sized vans and won't make you boil or freeze during your trip (it may even be more thermally comfortable than your own home). Double BUNK FAMILY VAN with option for Extra bunk spot available and potential for sleeping on couch which is quite comfy for slim adults (I'm 6'4" and slept well) or kids. You'll need to request the 3rd bunk if you wish as I need to provide the mattress (extra hire fee $10 per day). Inside you’ll be impressed with an island queen bed, 2-3 bunks, ensuite with shower, 3-way 190L Domestic fridge/ freezer, 3+1 cooktop with grill, microwave oven (240v), 240V reverse cycle aircon, double glazed acrylic windows with integrated fly screens with blinds plus a spacious leatherette dinette. NB: washing machine is not working. Outside, a stylish pull-out awning, fold-out picnic bench, exterior speakers and TV connection points and spacious tunnel boot storage. Also comes with ground mat, privacy awning walls, 2x adult and 2x kids camp chairs, and large fold out table. Bring an impact gun and I’ve got a tool that helps setting up the van faster and use awning anchor strapping. Van is fitted with a 12-pin plug and will keep the fridge cold while driving. If you do not have 12-pin, I have a flat 7 adaptor. 200Ah battery and 3000W invertor are now installed and ready to go for off grid camping. Battery monitor is still pending however so usage will want to be contained a little. AC works well on battery - fridge still requires gas. Solar panel on the roof will keep the battery topped up. Gray water tank has been fitted for self-contained stays. No off-road driving! The odd dirt track is ok at low speed but no corrugations. Beware of the risk of stone chips if you do opt for off-bitumen locations and the van is fitted with GPS/anti-theft tracking. Honesty is important, if you have an accident or something breaks, just talk to us! Most things are easier and cheaper to repair than you think (I'm a builder and can fix anything) and better if I know before the end of your hire in case there's someone booked directly after you. Minimum 4 day hire but can accept shorter hires upon request for non-peak periods - please just ask. Full week hires only over school holidays. Bike carrier available for hire. 2 large bikes easily. Can hang 2x kids bikes as well, but tricky. 2 large and 1 small is no worries.
